Transfem!Sam is so special to me. The tropes the show puts him through, the feeling and act of being constantly othered, the constant misogynistic behavior exhibited towards him by the hypermasculine hunters, all combined with the hate he gets in the fandom mirrors the misogyny women characters face, (especially women who get in the way of a gay ship). Making for a really interesting accidental transfem allegory.

HEY SO! Never write for trans people again lol I'm so sick of all of the victimization of trans characters {head-canon or not} in fics and your's takes the cake. It's not all about dysphoria and all the "woe is me" attitude you write with. Also, you're cis. Leave writing about trans people for trans people.👍

I'm assuming this is in response to the two Tfem!Sam fics I have published?

Neither fic revolved around the character having dysphoria

Only one of the fics mentioned Sam experiencing dysphoria prior to the events happening in said fic

They were both beta read by one of my best friends, who happens to be trans

The same friend suggested keeping a small mention of dysphoria because most trans people experience that, and would appreciate feeling seen when they read a fic involving that topic

As always I appreciate constructive criticism, but I really think you popped into the wrong inbox, because not once did I victimize any character, or claim they have a "Woe is me" attitude.
