SAM WINCHESTER | SUPERNATURAL 8.17 - GOODBYE STRANGER

top 3 sam whump scenarios

I am writing this with one hand in my pants and the other one on my phone

my no.1 scenario is when sam and john have a fight. big ass massive fight. best if it's preseries with rebellious teenage sam. john is drunk. sam is questioning him a lot. sam does the same thing he did in dead man’s blood while arguing with john (remember the “this is why I left” moment), where he mutters something not loud enough to make out the exact words, but loud enough for john to know he said something. and that blows john's fuse. the whole thing is happening outside their motel room. sam is standing at the edge of the top step on the outdoor staircase (all the rooms on the ground floor were booked so they had to take rooms on the only other floor). sam turns to leave, and john grabs his shoulder, spins him round and throws a tipsy punch, not hard enough to bruise sam but enough to make him lose balance. sam goes down hard, smashes the side of his head on the sharp metal edges mid fall, then tumbles all the way down to the bottom. blood starts pooling around sam's head, his breaths come in short gasps, his pupils are unequal, there's drool + blood trickling down his chin from his mouth. john rushes down to where sam lies in a crumpled heap of tangled limbs and john is crying and trembling, he can't believe he did this to his baby boy, what kind of a monster does that gjhgjgjg and sam tries to stay awake and croaks with whatever strength he has left "dad...it hurts..." and john, voice breaking, says "I know sammyy, help's gonna be here soon okay? stay with me sammy. come on, count with me ..one..two.." what if i killed myself☝️😃

no.2 is also preseries but it's slightly different cuz this one involves baby sam. it's not exactly Whump™ but I really like it. sam and dean are playing, or maybe sam is playing alone and sam gets hurt in the typical ways babies injure themselves. maybe he falls off the bed, or falls and cuts his knees or bumps his head, or breaks a bone, or has a stomach ache and won't stop crying and when sam cries, it makes mary cry (dean too) and john would comfort dean, and tell him to be strong cuz sam needs him, he's the big brother yada yada. but sam and mary🥹 mary would become teary eyed whenever baby sam cries or is in pain T_T and then she would cradle sam in her arms, rock him gently while singing hey jude all the way to the hospital. kay im evil😊

no. 3 scenario is basically when something completely natural, normal and human ends up threatening sam's life. like helping a homeless person or some random stranger, just out of the goodness of his heart. and it's that stranger who ends up hurting him in return. sam is so full of kindness T_T even if he's dying, he would rather help another soul or die trying. he's alone. and the other person pulls out a knife or some hidden weapon. it was planned cuz suddenly some other guys come out from the shadows and corner sam, it's one against many, sam has no upper hand here. bonus if it's season 5 and sam just takes the beatings... doesn't fight back, cuz deep down, he feels he deserves it...the gang takes his wallet, his watch and shoes, even his clothes...may be they rape him too, taking turns with him... and sam can feel the hot tears streaming down his face, and then they just leave him there...in the alley.. naked and bleeding
