Ok but like- identical twins can have opposite sex, but it's very rare. It's called chimerism or mosaicism

Basically, when twins are being formed in the womb, there's a small chance that the chromosomes will kinda weird out. One twin will be missing one chromosome, and will end up with X chromosomes, while the other will end up with XXY chromosomes

The twin with X chromosomes will have female traits, while the twin with XXY chromosomes will have male traits

Again, this is very rare

Anyways, this was all a segway into me explaining how Dipper and Mabel can be identical twins, and also both be trans

Either Mabel being accepted as a trans girl by family so she's allowed to be a girly girl or him being a trans boy who's hyper fem [either hyper fem in a "No I don't want to be a boy I like this stuff" way some closeted people are [basically over correcting] OR in a "Yes I'm a boy, yes I love colors, glitter, rainbows, unicorns, dresses, & more. I'm not less of a boy for enjoying FUN. In fact if I was a cis boy some of y'all - not all of y'all I know, would be clapping at me being this fem not saying I'm less of a man". Either way interesting imo]
