Magical Girl Kirara Hoshi ☆ [plus Hakari bonus!]
Fucking love trans girl Ralsei so much 🫶, I love mew mew so much, I love you transfem allegory!
"Maybe becoming a girl will make me feel like a real person." — FUCK, exactly.
I'm not a trans woman, but I do have whatever my gender wizardry is & my relationship with my femininity is very personal. It's so so so important to me, I love her so much.
Princess of the dark 🫶
I used to watch Collegehumor back in the day, and watched clips for years after they shifted to Dropout. In the last few months I actually subscribed specifically to watch their improv/game shows, mostly Game Changer and Make Some Noise, and watching more than just a clip here or there threw into sharp contrast how, for all that I really do like the cast members on these shows, the experience of transness they platform seems to largely begin and end with the transmasculine, and maybe the occasional special drag episode.
This isn't a knock on the incredibly funny and talented cast! I enjoy these people, these shows, this humor - enough so that Dropout was the only streaming subscription I have ever chosen to purchase at any time. It's just frustrating when I know there are plenty of equally funny and talented trans women that could and should be invited to participate.
Obviously, diversity is not a quota to be filled, but I can't help but feel that I, and other transfems, have been being left out to dry, when we, too, have been here the whole time.
what if we made our own "algorithm" for media with good transfem representation by sharing some of our favorites
Or maybe we don't deserve...
O ptét q'on merte ra do repésâtaçyon finalamen, ptét qe père les tramâlins â merte... q'on é ra qe tot dret cyantè è qrïnjè è tro crouye avoui noz frérez è adel tra ;c
Or maybe we don't deserver representation in the end, maybe only transmasc people deserve it... that we are just too annoying and cringe and too mean with our trans brothers and siblings ;c
