Updated version of my dog transformation animation from yesterday! I added a collar, an extra frame to help with the pose transition, and adjusted the tail wag so it wasn't just two alternating frames.

Did a transformation animation for Pebble from Dandy's World! Had a blast working on it... now I'm excited to do other Twisted Mains, lol. Maybe I'll finally get around to that Nari rig though.

Spectacular Spookoween Day 12+13 - Metamorphosis

y'all can you can you tell I really liked this Spookoween prompt? lmao

been wanting to think about my OC Elise's transformation whenever her momma (Natalie) gets threatened for a while, and this was a great excuse to work on that! I woulda cleaned it up a bit more, but the submissions closed early (long story) and I just barely got it in :'3

Scene 1: A small plush cat looks off-camera, surprised. She has downturned ears, stubby arms, button eyes, a heart-shaped nose, a vaguely heart-shaped sprig of fabric coming off the top of her head, and a cartoony heart shape on her chest. Her surprise turns to anger as her head tilts forward, her fists ball, and her eyes angle.

Scene 2: The word "Nobody" comes on screen at the bottom as a white-on-black subtitle. We see a closeup of the character's face, with the mouth being focused on and the eyes covered in shadow. As the character lip syncs the word on screen, her muzzle grows from the flat unrealistic plush face to a more defined realistic muzzle similar to a leopard's. In the top left you can see the artist's lip sync sketch, to make sure the mouth shapes are consistent as the muzzle grows.

Scene 3: The word "Touches" comes in screen at the bottom as a white-on-black subtitle. We see a close-up of the character's fist, which opens up and transforms from a stubby fingerless plush nub to a proper five-fingered paw with sharp claws.

Scene 4: The word "My" comes in screen at the bottom as a white-on-black subtitle. We see a simpler shot of the character without much detail (mostly a silhouette). Her body grows several times in size to fill up the screen and her tail flicks.

Scene 5: The word "MOMMA!" in all caps comes in screen at the bottom as a white-on-black subtitle. We see a scared woman sitting on the ground. She has long curly hair, a long dress, mini boots with bows on the sides, and a terrified expression. She blurs as a large panther rushes in from the right side of the screen looking furious and kicking up dust. While its anatomy is realistic, we can see many traits from the animation's start to show that it's the same character we saw earlier. Some examples include: a striped tail, the chest heart, the bell choker, the bow, the button eyes, and the vaguely heart-shaped sprig on the top of her head.
