This past Saturday was an EPIC night being honored as one of the 2018 Boss Women of the Year during the @bosswomenwhobrunch #50shadesofboss event! The atmosphere was electric & I am beyond inspired. Reflecting on @theaffirmationsummit 9.22.2018. Yesterday, I had the honor of being the Keynote speaker for one of the most original, unique, authentic, healing & affirming events/experiences. If you missed it trust that you MUST be at the next one because it was indescribable & amazing is not descriptive enough for it. What many don’t know is... what I planned to share was very surface level. But God made me revamp & re write my entire speech the night before. He made me dig so much deeper. So much so, that as I was re-writing, I was literally balling crying having to revisit details that I’ve never shared with anyone before you all. Not even my closest friends. But God Loves each woman who attended so much that He needed and wanted to each of us to see ourselves, heal & be whole. He wants us to... “Persevere to Freedom”. Learning yourself, facing your truth, and forgiveness are never easy tasks. 😓 Pain is an inevitable part of life. 🌤The first step in turning pain into determination is to face it head-on with courage, accept that it's a given rather than try to run from it or deny its existence entirely like most people do (at least at first).
