In the TFP toyline there was a mini-scale team of Predacons who could combine into a giant bot named Abominus. Given what we know about how regular cybertronians work when they combine, how exactly would a Predacon combiner work?
Well the toy has them combine into a giant bot with dragons for hands. The wiki says Shockwave modified them for that.
