My first and still-favourite TF show that handled story, characters, heart and comedy better than all five Bay movies combined.

Do you think that the reason Wheeljack in TFP was so averse to joining the Autobots bcuz he was used to all of his teammates dying? The wreckers literally all died on battlefields, with only him and Bulkhead left. I imagine that would give him some attachment and commitment issues.

Maybe it's just that shape of his head but I do think it fits with his samurai-esque aesthetics/motifs. Also this style, at least in Japan, is common in gangs or rebellious youth so it fits with his personality too. Then again, it can be argued Wheeljack is more cowboy than samurai.
