Transformers x Voltron anyone?

This popped into my head a couple mornings ago and I stayed up thinking about it some more.

Based off the blue lion :>

I scribbled down the general plot of a short story (or maybe a long fic, depends if I actually write it) centered around a transformer that found one of the lions decommissioned in space. They think it would make a neat alt mode and scan it. Then bam. Idk something something, things happen and the transformer gets mistaken for the original lion and taken back to the rest of them at the palace. They don't get found out till later.

I'm still thinking if this would be during the show with those characters, or a completely new cast that I'd have to come up with...

Anyway, I just thought it'd be cool. Someone out there has probably already done this an I just need to go looking. To satisfy the brain worms.

I like crossover fics, like a lot. SO here’s a head canon of the team meeting someone from an alternate reality where transformers is a movie that EVERYONE has seen. let’s name them Kaya. (its arbitrary, y'all can change the name to whatever)

Kaya: so you fly giant metal lions that were built thousands of years ago and are basically sentient and ruled by a magic energy?

Lance: yup, that’s basicallyy it. Kind of weird right?

Hunk: so weird

Keith: ehh I've seen weirder

Kaya: ....so are they like a weird form of Autobots?

everyone:??????? THE WHAT? 

Kaya: no seriously, guys can I met Bumblebee?

Pidge: how hard did they hit their head?

Kaya: you guys are joking right? giant sentient lions exist but you’ve never fought a Decepticon?

Keith: The fuck is a decepticon??????

Kaya: Giant robotic aliens that take the forms of cars on earth...

Kaya: and like they're like 80000 ft tall

Kaya: and they have masters and shit

Kaya: and for some reason completely destroy Chicago like 20 times

kaya: and like the older ones turn into dinosaurs because they landed on earth when dinosaurs roamed

Kaya: ....so I'm guessing ya’ll have never met a kaiju?

Its just voltron but the lions are transformers.
