Ughh.

I'm tired of seeing content about TFP MegaStar, and not even a shred of TFA MegaStar.

Oh, so when our relationship has a clear, abusive power imbalance, that's when you find it interesting, but when there's a more equal power level between us (that would be more interesting to explore, mind you) you don't even care?

I've seen art, writing and speculation all about me and someone I had never even began to love. But what of me and someone who had I loved quite strongly? Barren.

Fuck me, there's actually a few moments in TFA between me and Starscream that would have people screaming over it if it happened in TFP. We have a lot more moments of tension between each other in canon, and yet? No one seems to even think about it much.

Sure, I didn't fancy Starscream anymore after his whole backstabbing spree (probably) and that's what people see in canon.. but I'm still frustrated.

I just want to see content of us in a relationship that actually happened, but instead everyone focuses on an alternate version of us where there's usually a power imbalance, or the one continuity I remember said power imbalance.

...Or maybe I miss Starscream more than I think. And hate Megatron more than I thought.

Thinking about how I unlearned saying "For Primus sake" or "Oh Primus" instead of for gods sake or oh god. How I suppressed it because I felt silly... Embarrassed... Like no one would take me seriously. In spite of how natural it felt.

Sure it's tacky but Primus does it feel good.

Finally I have found the word for what I experience, when I'm in shift rather than the others. My empathetic action decreases instead replaced with either cognitive empathy.

Kinger and the other one I'll call ⚡ (both of whom are more prone to empathetic action) being on the verge of experiencing empathetic burnout seems to be a shift trigger for myself.. leaving me to get the things that they couldn't handle while paralyzed or having a meltdown.

I don't mind though, I feel more relaxed and free than them. I can focus and get it over with, have the relief of it being done without crying over something the other party doesn't even care about anymore.

Missing Blitzwing and Blackarachnia... I'm not even certain we were ever friends, but I do admire them and wish we could've been. I do personally remember Blackarachnia did teasing me when I was being a fool, but the fondness remains.

More people should be shipping me with Starscream.

What, our back and forth bickering and fighting and cruel assassination attempts aren't enough for you all? Sure, canon never showed much of our relationship, let alone how it was like before we encountered the Allspark on that Autobot ship or before the war, but you could come up with something.

I never even knew Optimus Prime's name until he outpowered me and gained my respect, and yet that's who the majority of the fandom chooses to pair me with. Every time, without fail. It's not like I hate it, but really? This the one continuity where this relationship doesn't really make sense.

Well, anyway, I miss Starscream. Not in a typical way, but I can't stop thinking about him. Sexy bastard. I have such horrible taste in bots..

Oh, and I don't play the role you think I would. Just because I'm strict and imposing for my cause doesn't mean I'll also be like that in a relationship. Quite the opposite, really.

Oh well. I can draw it myself if I have to. Well, I already have, but still.
