G1 Ratchet was originally meant to be hilariously casual rather than a hardass or amazingly compassionate.

Not malicious, but way too confident in his abilities and not taking things seriously. He’s a miracle worker and he knows it.

Budiansky admits he forgot about writing Ratchet in his toy bios to be a party animal when it came time to writing him in the Marvel comics.

So, I was digging in my old folder and guess what I found~. Showed it to full-autopsy and I agreed to put it here since the art itself is done. You can find it here~. It was just messing around x'D I'm used to add stupid things into my sketches when I'm annoyed and can't make a straight line or somethin'.
