Saw your age headcannon post for Dratchcee and while I know this is taking place in the TFA universe, thought I’d throw in the fun fact that in IDW, Arcee is the twin sibling of Galveston and is therefore probably twice the age of either Ratchet or Drift- whoever is older out of those two. Now TFA being what it is there’s probably very little chance this translates over well… but. There is one way this could work, and that’s involving the resource shortage of the war! Pre-war autobots have sturdier frames, more lasting components that need less regular maintenance, all that jazz. So the newer they are, the faster they wear down. Arcee being a teacher means she probably didn’t have much physical strain on her frame, so the thought of her getting by just fine for millions of years before joining the war effort and meeting these two cute young bots and ending up in a relationship with them where they’re both the inappropriately young girlfriends (they’re not, they’re all just ancient) is how I can push my old woman yuri Dratchee agenda!!!

I'm not gonna lie I do love the vision here.

Tbh the only reason I settled on Drift as the oldest was because he was the one I imagined everyone outside the group assuming was the youngest. So him actually being the oldest just seemed entertaining to me. Plus it worked out well given my idea that Drift and Ratchet had a forgotten first meeting before the war that Drift remembers and cherishes but that Ratchet just kinda forgot. (He was working on a lot of warframes at the time and Drift was just one of many.)

Mind you I'm far far from against the idea of the oldest being Arcee. XD I just wasn't sure whether or not it'd work n this context or not. However if enough of yall think it works I'm definitely down for older woman Arcee and yer two younger boy toys.

Ratchets still the youngest though. That is decided. Its too funny not to be the case.

As an aside if you guys can help me name the tfa drift/arcee ship with an agreed upon ship name I would be forever grateful.
