Genital & chest terminology (for usage or writing!)

These are terms you can use for yourself, or while writing transgender/genderqueer and varsex (transsex, altersex, intersex) characters!

Cloaca/urogenital sinus: Cloaky, cloak, cloa, cloe, clo, cloakhole, cloahole, clohole, usin, urosin, urohole, sinhole, sin

Breast/chest terms: Boobs, tits, udders, breasticles, chest, chesticles

Note: Genderqueer or varsex people may choose to use “opposing” terms for their genitalia or chest, for the purpose of euphoria or comfort. For example, a mulleripathian who hasn’t had bottom surgery may use the terms dick, cloaky, and sack to refer to their genitals, even though those terms weren’t made with mulleripathian genitals in mind. 

Bonus: Some people add attributes to the front of their labels. Some examples include the following:

what is ambisex?

Ambisex is kind of like an alternate way of saying Altersex, but with one key difference: it specifically refers to people who desire to have multiple sex characteristics. The prefix 'ambi' means 'both', which is most commonly seen in the word "ambidextrous".

The more common terms for Ambisex is Aphrodisian or Salmacian. The definition is "someone who desires to have multiple sex characteristics (typically using hrt to achieve this)." An example of this, using myself as reference, is that I want to have a penis alongside my vagina (specifically going for a metoidioplasty).

However, you might be wondering "why not just use those other terms?" Well, those are taken from Greek mythology, and the justifications of the deities they're named after (Aphroditus and Salmacis) have some... Not so great history.

Trissex Coining

Coining: Trissex

Hello! I coined this term because I never really found a term that either was for someone that was transgenital, transhormonal and transsecondary all at once - nor did I find one that was an umbrella term for it, so consider this term both of those (or well, see it as you wish!), as that is what I coined this for!

Trissex: A term that mixes transsex and cissex as a transsex person or individual only wishes to change certain parts of their sexual organs but not others.

This term is a term that is for when a transsex person or individual wishes to have certain aspects of transitioning to their preferred sex, but not others. Examples are:

- A transfeminine person or individual wanting to have the chest area of the female sex as well as get rid of their reproductive organ, but doesn't want to have the reproductive organ of the female sex.

- A transfeminine person or individual wanting to get rid of their reproductive organ as well as gain the reproductive organ of the male sex, but doesn't want to get rid of their chest area.

⤴️then the same thing for transmasculine people or individuals.

And so on.

The meaning of the name:

Tris : combination of the words cis and trans

sex: for the organs portion!

Trissex: Mixture of cissex and transsex organs!

It it transphobic or intersexist or anything for me to call myself getting phallo "reconstructive"? Sorry if t he ask slunds weird or anything I'm cognitively disabled and it's hard to words right.

I am intersex but i didnt go through IGM or anything, it's just easier to explain "I'm getting reconstructive surgery done on my penis" instead of "im a cis dude with a vulva who's getting phalloplasty cuz his family prevented him from having one done as IGM and he wants a acrual penis now that he's old eboufh to decide"

My mom said that was intersexist to say it's reconstructive and normslly she knows better then me so I listen but she's weird about me being intersex still and she said i shoukd talk to her intersex friend about it and he said it was fine to say that so im confused now whether it is or not.

It can be varsexist purely because it's a misuse of the word.

Reconstructive means it's being constructed again. Constructive means it's being constructed generally. By saying you're having "reconstructive surgery", youre saying you used to have a penis and are having it constructed again, which is not true.

"Reconstructive bottom surgery" should only be used by people who have suffered genital mutilation (whether they're intersex or perisex), or who have had medical accidents/events that have injured their genitalia.

Just drop the "re" part of it, call it what it is - constructive surgery, or just say "I'm getting a phalloplasty" or "I'm having my penis expanded."

Transsexual / Transsex Alt Flag

My take on a transsexual flag, based on these three flags: [1], [2], [3]

I really like SilenceTheFox's transsexual flag, and the triangle to represent transsexuality, but to me a lot of the flags felt too divorced from my idea of a distinct yet simple flag. This is the result, a simple flag that to me screams trans without being a direct rip of the transgender flag, and integrates all the elements I liked about the existing ones.

Transsexual (also called transsex) is distinct from transgender. A transgender person is not inherently transsexual, and a transsexual person is not inherently transgender, as sex and gender are distinct concepts which are often connected, not always connected.
