Heya! So I was recently gifted a tarot deck for Christmas but the problem is there was a miscommunication between my gift giver and her mom and so there was bad energy when it was given to me. My friend said to burn sage over it to cleanse it, but I don’t have any in the house and don’t know where to get some. Are there any other methods of cleansing it or any idea where to get sage? I do have some incense in the house if that helps with the answer

So for cleansing, you can use incense instead of sage to smoke-cleanse the deck. I think that’s perfectly reasonable, with better results being incense that has cleansing properties (however you define that.)
Another way to cleanse your deck is to leave it out in the sunlight or moonlight, like on a windowsill.
Put a cleansing crystal with the deck is another way to cleanse.
Or bubbles! Similar to smoke cleansing, just waft some air bubbles over the deck (probably shouldn’t submerge into water given most cards are made of paper, so be careful!)
Also worth mentioning is that cleansing gets rid of energy, but you should probably put some intent or some charging so the deck is “programmed” how you want it to be after cleansing.
Those are the methods that come immediately to mind.
