I finally have a plan and even though there have been rocky days I really am happy and I have my amazing girlfriend to thank for helping me through the hard times and celebrating the good. She's amazing.

And I was playing the jock character, and I had this little girl who I’d found hiding in the house with me (a companion card). I end up dying by getting blown up, which destroys all my item and omen cards, including this little girl card. And Transinboots looks me dead in the eye and says:

We need to adapt your Sam cosplay into a Lady!Sam cosplay. For realz. It wouldn't be that hard. Mostly getting jeans and a shirts that are cut differently. :D Or how about white skirt suit 2014 Lady!Lucifer!Sam cosplay? It could be awesome.

It's Excalibur from Fate/Stay Night. Which spends half its time shielded by air to appear invisible. I couldn't get the idea of trying to build the invisible air version of it out of my head, so here I am because I hate myself. It's made out of clear acrylic sheeting. And tears.

The downside to working with clear materials is YOU CAN SEE EVERYTHING. Every smear of glue where the pieces slipped, every bubble, every edge that wasn't cut perfectly straight. It will probably look fine in pictures, but it's really a mess up close. NO ONE LOOK AT IT UP CLOSE, OKAY.

I think the thing to take away from this is that you totally created THE UNICORN OF FAILURE....and need to market that.
