I was so excited to receive my gift bundle from Models Own yesterday. Played with some of the products today. Here's what I thought about them 😊📝 Models own "Barely there" eye shadow palette - I love the colours, nice mix of matte and shimmer. Feels lovely and light on the eye lids. Nice little brush supplied with it too. Translucent loose powder - Definitely does the job of setting the foundation but I found the pot it comes in quite difficult to use. Didn't go through the holes very well so I just took the lid off and used the product directly. Doesn't dry out the skin which is a bonus. Face primer - Really nice gel texture primer. Smooths out skin really well, excellent base for foundation. Matte lip gloss - This lip gloss goes on really well, smells so good and sits nicely on the lips. Unfortunately the colour doesn't go well with my skin tone but would look amazing on darker skin than mine. Lip locker - I had never heard about this before and totally thought it was a nail varnish! I tried it on top of my normal lipstick and it held the colour really well without smudging so will definitely use again. Highlighter - Gives a really nice shimmer when used across the top of the cheek bones. Unfortunately my tube was damaged in the post but I just used a small brush instead of using directly and it worked just as well so if you have that issue, there's the solution 😉 Eye liner - This is more of a pencil type of eye liner but works well over an eye lid prepared with eye shadow primer. It can be a little bit smudgey but I've found using it along the eye lid then purposefully blur it, it gives a really nice, soft look.
