a bit more on Emily’s character. She was explicitly written to be someone who has zero problems in life. She had loving parents, a good friend group. She lives an idealistic life. She doesn’t have any trauma or anything like that. She just seeks attention because that’s what children do. Kids want attention. We used to be one of those attention seeking kids back when we were that age. If this kind of system faking was a thing when we were that age, we would have faked too. A child seeking attention is not usually a sign of neglect. It’s a sign of them being a child. Also another aspect is that her “tulpas” and “headmates” don’t have any autonomy. She’s having a conversation with herself, and playing both sides.
I think it’s rich to pretend to know more about a character than the author who wrote them. It’s also pretty rich to pretend to know more about our lives than we do. (Quick aside, interesting how pretending to more about someone’s life than the person themself is a common trait of anti-endos. And that’s something you exhibit all the time.)
Also I want to reiterate from a previous ask. I don’t hate tulpamancers/willogenjcs. I think they’re misinterpreting things and most likely not actually plural, but I don’t hate them. People are free to explain their experiences however they wish, as long as they aren’t hurting anyone.
I've had this draft saved from the Translucent-System since January 6th about their willogenic character they made up. I wrote most of this response then, but I never completed it. (I'm sure we have undiagnosed ADHD.) So I'm finally finishing it now!
This was in reply to this conversation, for anyone who needs more context.

It's not that I know your character better than you do.
It's that I know the psychology better than you do, and that's why I know the character you present, someone who has a perfect life but spins this massive lie for attention for three years straight, isn't realistic.
She doesn’t have any trauma or anything like that. She just seeks attention because that’s what children do. Kids want attention. We used to be one of those attention seeking kids back when we were that age.
Woah! Are you saying that Emily's character was based on yourself! Like literally every other character you've roleplayed as! I'm in complete shock! 😲 /s
But in all seriousness, Mx. "All Systems Come From Negative Experiences," has it genuinely never crossed your mind that maybe... just maybe... whatever negative experiences caused you to develop your system also contributed towards your lying for attention back then AND NOW?
And that the lies you are telling are not, in fact, normal?
Lying about things like being harassed by Okimi in 2019, when there wasn't even a headmate in their system by that name until last year, isn't normal!
It's not something that most people with a perfect, happy childhood are going to do.
You are still lying for attention!
And I know you're going to keep up the pretense of not being system-facts because that's what you typically do when called out on a lie. You double down.
But system-facts creating a whole fake drama with their host, and then faking their death, is also not a normal thing to lie about.
I believe you when you claim to believe all systems are caused by negative experiences. I also believe you when you say that you're a system. But those two things, added together, means that you had negative experiences, regardless of whether you consider those experiences traumatic, that caused you to develop your system.
These experiences also shaped who you became in other ways.
And who you became shaped how you see other people.
But the character you created is one that isn't supposed to have those negative experiences that caused you to become who you are today.
Lies of the magnitude "Emily" tells are generally conditioned responses learned in childhood. Most likely, someone like that would either be neglected and learn that this was the only way to get attention, or they come from an abusive household where honesty is more likely to be punished. Or they picked it up from parents who demonstrated these types of traits. Maybe even a mix of all three. I'm not trying to say that your character had this type of life, but I am saying that because she didn't have that life, her character isn't very realistic.
What you did as a child was influenced by YOUR life experiences. A child without those experience probably wouldn't act like you did as a child.
Similarly, it's not realistic to convince yourself that characters without autonomy are actually autonomous. The myth of the unintentional faker is just a myth, and it doesn't hold up under scrutiny or the slightest bit of critical thinking.
This is backed up by numerous self-reports. But also by actual brain scans. Early reports from the Stanford tulpa study have shown neurological activity in regions of the brains of tulpamancers associated with autonomy during possession that are inconsistent with just pretending someone is controlling you.
Not only is research showing that it isn't pretend. It's detectable on a neurological level.
Also, I feel I should post your other ask too that you referenced here.
I didn't respond to this at the time because...
On one hand, it would be great if you were really changing and deciding to not be against created systems.
On the other hand, it seems like you're still not processing that this is a real phenomenon. Your beliefs haven't really changed. Only you acting on them and pushing out created systems.
And on a third hand, I wasn't sure if I believed your sincerity at the time. Here in the future, after people continued to get anti-willogenic anons echoing the rhetoric of you and system-facts, I trust it even less.
On a fourth hand, I think I might be a Machamp now.
🤷♀️🤷♀️
Sorry, I have a tendency to not trust liars. If you've lied about things as radical as being harassed by users in the past, then why would I trust you when you say anything?
Trust is a bank. You start with a certain amount of trust in that bank. When you show that you can be trustworthy, people will trust you more. But when you tell massive lies like you've done again and again, you spend that trust.
You are currently all out and deep in debt, and the only way to earn it back would be through action.
