Today on Transgender Day of Remembrance, The Trevor Project joins the rest of the world to remember all transgender lives lost. At Trevor, we know all too well the challenges, violence, harassment, discrimination, and lack of support facing the transgender community. Loss, on top of the adversities and non-affirming conflicts that transgender folks too frequently face, can wear on a community’s resilience. This is why it’s important to gather together, to offer life-affirming support to each other.

During Transgender Awareness Week, we’ve been reaching out to youth on social media with information and images of inspiring transgender folks who are building community. We wanted to tell you about gatherings that will be happening in your community, so that we can together, remember all lives that have been lost.
