Finalists announced for the 2025 Trans Visibility Awards
The 2025 finalists for the annual Trans Visibility Awards have been announced, taking place during Transgender Victoria’s Gender Revel Gala in Trans Month.
The Trans Visibility Awards are a fantastic opportunity to honour the incredible contributions of transgender, gender diverse and non-binary people and allies.
The awards started in 2024 as part of Transgender Victoria’s Trans Month in November.
Nominations opened earlier in the year and were a great opportunity to recognise the changemakers and champions in our communities.
“This year’s finalists are an inspiring testament to the strength, creativity, and leadership within our TGD communities,” CEO of Transgender Victoria, Dr. Son Vivienne, said.
“We’re thrilled to shine a spotlight on these individuals who are creating real change and celebrating trans joy in all its forms.”

See you at the Gender Revel Gala
Winners will be announced at the inaugural Gender Revel Gala on 7th November.
“The gala is a chance for our TGD communities, allies, and partners to come together in celebration,” Dr. Vivienne added.
“It will be a night of connection, joy, and performance, and we look forward to honouring this year’s award recipients.”
The Gender Revel Gala is a highlight of Trans Month, taking place throughout November.
Over three hundred people attended last year’s Gender Revel Gala, an amazing and affirming event.
“To be with so many trans people embodying their joy and euphoria, having full permission and safety to be their authentic selves, was special.”
“To be able to put that on again for our communities is a real privilege.” Hank from TGV said.
Tickets will go on sale for the Gender Revel Gala on the 1st of September.
Trans Month is a month-long tribute throughout November to the strength, joy, and wholeness of our transgender, gender diverse and non-binary communities.
It is an open-access program of trans-centric events hosted by community organisations.
That invites TGD communities, allies, families, and partners to come together in solidarity and connection.
You can register your event as part of Trans Month; the size or scope of your event doesn’t matter; your idea can be big or small.
