Based off of my experience scrolling the trans tag on tumblr, posts featured are based off of real posts that I’ve seen (didn’t want to use screenshots or direct wording to avoid any potential harassment towards the original creators of the posts referenced.)
Didn’t specify a singular group of trans people in this cause I know that this type of vitriolic hatred happens in all directions, and I didn’t want to frame one group as “evil” or anything or any other group as “faultless”.
Istg if anyone uses this comic as an excuse to spread transphobia in any way I am going to get violent.
with the power of shokubutsu monogatari, you too can be a transphobe ✨
sorry if someone else has said this but i only just now saw the movie -- owen/isabel revisiting the pink opaque and seeing a declawed version of it is to me a sort of metaphor for the revisionist histories people will spin once you come out as trans. the vibe of "the ice cream man never tried to kill you, you were friends!" i feels like my mother telling me being trans came out of nowhere because i love dresses and rom coms etc when i was a little tomboy and she would punish me for it constantly, or the parents of trans femmes who would punish them for being feminine suddenly being like what are you talking about you love football and no i never called you a fag and told you to jump into traffic you snd have always been the best of friends s
The creator of Papa's Canibalia, Awful Cartoons for Awful Kids, has revealed themself to be a transphobe.
(Video can be found here- as a quick warning, it is a reimagining of the original Pico's School, so be wary of themes of school sh--tings, gore, and child d-ath present)
Obviously, I am not bringing this information to light as a means of getting anyone to harass/harm them. That shit is fucked up under most circumstances- we are better than that, folks.
The purpose behind this post is to bring awareness to the rest of the Papa Louie fandom who had little to no idea who they have been supporting all along, especially since a huge chunk of the PL fanbase does happen to consist of folks who are members of the LGBTQA+ community as well.
Please do stay safe, everyone; just block this creator and warn your peers of their recently exposed views, but do not pour fuel on the fire. What matters now more than ever is our sense of community, and we must stand by one another especially during these terrifying times.
*sighes* look, I'm sorry about the mis-pronoun thing. But there's no need to threaten me like that.
You wouldn't believe the HELL I'd been through with Twitter. I don't really wanna talk about it, it's too upsetting to remember. But the point is, you can't force someone to believe in something they don't. My beliefs are different, and that should be okay, as long as you are not being rude to me about.
You're lucky I really like this blog, so I'll forgive you this one time. But I'm warning you, right now. If you keep up this attitude, I'll report you for Bullying, and I'll NEVER read this blog again!
(I'm not weak, and I don't tolerate this kind of behavior)
Sir, I sent you a jokey png of my fursona pointing a photoshopped gun at you. That was not in any way a real threat.
This isn't about anyone's beliefs. This is about showing other people basic dignity. Using the wrong pronouns on a person is a denial of their personhood. It's saying "I know better than you do who you are." So I can't just ignore when you do that. Your comfort isn't more important than the dignity of all the trans and nonbinary people who will see that.
So your options are either to start getting comfortable with using people's correct pronouns... Or don't talk to me. Are we clear?

1 time this guy at a party (adult party, still a kickback but no drama or antics) was being kinda rude to me, which I zeroed in on cause I thought he was hot, but he was like...acting disgusted with me which like wtf we barely met and I look fire tonight...hadn't even done anything weird, had had half of 1 drink, was close friends with one of the people living there. dismissed it and continued to have a good time.
anyway way weeks latee one of my friends mentioned him in passing as "transphobic steve" and I was like "wait steve from the party with the mustache?" and he was like "yep" and I was like "he's transphobic?" and he was like "oh he's hella transphobic"
sometimes I do truly forget people dislike me not bc of anything I've done or said but because I'm queer and alt lol
how mouthwashing characters would react to you coming out as trans (masc)
Daisuke
he's genuinely the easiest person to come out to.
the most supportive and encouraging person on board, and tells you how grateful he is that you were comfortable enough to tell him.
absolute hype beast for you too tbh
especially since you're closest in age to him and you're working the same job, he's really encouraging even before you came out.
he already thought you were cool beforehand and saw your working proficiency as "like, really friggin' rad, dude," and that doesn't change afterwards.
he does slip in the occasional comment of how strong you are, or just little things that are quite affirming.
also the least likely to pry too far in terms of asking about surgeries and other gender affirming care. he respects your privacy and won't push if you don't bring it up first.
