Tips for translobotomized and/or transTBI?
getting help with this from one of our transTBI headmates!
our translobotomized advice
suddenly have a shift in personality or how you act with others. how you go about this can depend, but the more substantial, the better.
becoming calmer and aloof along with showing a lack of interest in things. those are the most common things seen in those lobotomized.
watching documentaries about patients who received or the history of the procedure can fill in the gaps on how to present yourself.
telling others that youve been lobotomized. this one might sound crazy but its something we do with our transIDs. its fun to see how they react to that information.
our transtraumaticbraininjury advice
again, a shift in personality is something common with brain injurys so its a nice thing to consider. you can plan out beforehand what you would act like.
forgetfulness is something that can also happen. things forgetting small details or daily activities.
you can act out having motor skill issues or tics. whether you do that publicly or privately is up to you. many who struggle with those might hide it out of shame, but you dont have to if it makes you feel better to be open about it.
some with brain injurys will forget that they even had one. so waiting until others notice your out of the ordinary behaviors can be very satisfying. if you want to take it a step further, you can even make a story about how you got your traumatic brain injury.
sorry if this one isnt too good, hope it helps yall out!
For the anti-radqueers, do you think transTBI / transbraindamage / trans mental disabilities in general, are wrong? If so, why? Go in as much detail as possible, I want to debate it :)
Coining posts are cool, but I want to see more on people's experiences being transid / transx / other related labels.
So if anyone wants to talk about themselves, I'd be interested in reading it (ᵔᵕᵔ) Bonus points if it's transchinese or transTBI (I'm cis chinese & TBI ^^)
