“Lapis...”

That was a face Jasper didn’t think she’d ever see again, but there they were. Did Jasper even dare to approach them? The last time they’d met, things had been decidedly awful between them. Maybe things could be better? Jasper could hope...

“W-Wait a second,” Jasper said. She swam from where she was in the fountain and over to the blue Gem, hoping that Lapis would stay put. Her hope also was that, despite the marks that lingered from her corruption, Lapis wouldn’t be too put off by her appearance. If they were, then Jasper would just have to suck it up and move on.

“I just want to talk.”

Steven slowly stepped closer to Lapis. With a worried frown on his face, he slowly placed his hand on her shoulder, trying not to startle her. 

Sigh

“Lapis?” He whispered gently. “Are you.. feeling okay? Would you mind some company?”

      Steven’s content to listen to her for a time, but he also feels like it’s dishonest to not announce his approach. This was something he wasn’t supposed to hear. So he shuts the door behind him a little harder than he usually would for this time of night, just to make sure she hears him.

      “I like your song,” he eventually blurts out, wringing his hands. “But...”

It sounded kind of sad, he thinks.

      “Don’t you wanna come inside?”

“Hey, Lapis,” Bismuth greeted. She’d decided to linger around Rose’s fountain for a little while while the rest of the previously corrupted Gems continued to relax there. Mostly, she wanted to be there to help them find their bearings. Having a friend nearby was a welcome thing, too.

“Probably goes without sayin’, but I think we worked real well together back on Homeworld,” she said. “You doin’ all right?” Bismuth figured that she might as well ask. They were allies now. It just made sense to check in now and again.

Pietersite

personality of the fusion

Pietersite is a relatively calm and rational Gem, surprisingly. Lapis and Bismuth in sync with one another lead to a balance between them. She is a Gem who also has a relatively optimistic outlook on things and is willing to try new things.

stability of fusion

For the most part, Pietersite is a stable fusion since Bismuth and Lapis get along pretty well and seem to be on the same level a lot of the time. However, when their mindsets do clash it can lead to her falling apart. This doesn’t happen too often.

height of the fusion (in comparison to other characters)

Though not the tallest fusion, she is at least a bit close to Opal in height. She also has a decent amount of bulk.
