Butch often ventured into the deeper parts of this specific forest especially when gathering firewood or hunting. What he had failed to remember though, was on this specific trail, a trap he had set for a pesky coyote. Not the most elaborate but then again, it didn't have to be. A simple rope trap he had attached to a branch above and rigged up; one he doesn't notice as he had hidden it maybe a little too well.

He steps into the center of the well knotted loop, hidden beneath a layer of leaves and immediately the trap is triggered by the pressure of his weight. The rope tightens around his ankle with a 'fwip!' and he's yanked by one leg clean off of the ground and hoisted into the air upside down. A yelp leaves him as it transpires and he drops every bit of wood he had been carrying, eyes wide with a surprise. He throws his body forward, reaching for the rope around his ankle but can't quite get a grip on it suspended in such a position. That's when he hears the crunch of leaves nearby and upon looking, he finds a familiar face approaching.

Well, this was embarrassing...but that didn't mean he has to let it be!

"Come here often, stranger?" He inquires with a not so convincing grin from where he dangles.
