History3: Trapped - Diary Logbook
Hey guys! Don’t know if you’ve seen this floating around recently, but anyway, if any of you bought the History Pass memberships, you’ll probably know about this one. For those who bought silver and gold cards (I do not think anyone here bought the gold card, including myself LMAO it’s like 300+ USD excluding shipping idek what to say), it comes with the above diary logbook - It’s not for sale currently and I don’t think it’ll actually ever be for sale (it’s a history pass perk).
In any case, what the diary logbook is about: It documents like moments in the filming process from Day 1 to Day 69, and has unreleased photos from the set
I love the cover so much! This is an aesthetic external cover I LURVE IT
I will translate all the pages for you guys - This shouldn’t take too long because there isn’t too much text, will see if I can scan in the pages and the photos as well
This book is GORGEOUS I love the white background and muted colours it’s almost like a travelogue
The book will only reach me end of the month so that’s when translations will begin (yes yes I know there’s still the Trapped novel!!! don’t worry it’ll go hand in hand and like i said the logbook doesn’t have a huge chunk of text so it won’t take too long and there shouldn’t be any more delays)

Day 30
In the days when they were filming at the mansion in Yi Lan (the house that Tang Yi lives in), their days were filled almost entirely with kissing scenes, and today’s kissing scene is our FeiTang CP’s usual - The kisses are both angsty and really leaves an impression on everyone’s minds.
This is the first scene after dinner, and from dinner onwards both Chris and Jake, together with the director, were practicing how to portray the emotions of the scene properly behind closed doors, and even when they got to the shooting location, the atmosphere was very somber. Both Chris and Jake kissed each other repeatedly, their shirts were ripped apart one time after another, and when Director Lee shouted ‘cut’, she would move from behind the screens and walk into the room quietly to give both of them hugs. Other crew members would also come in to help re-attach the mics, sew on the buttons of the shirts again and help Chris and Jake to wipe their tears away and freshen their makeup. Everything happened quietly. And right before each shout of ‘action’, Chris and Jake would hug each other, patting each other on their backs, and tell each other “you can do this!”
Until they heard the director shout, “alright, let’s move on to the next scene”, Chris and Jake’s tearful expressions morphed into smiles and laughs, and seated on the floor, they helped each other to wipe their tears away, and even some saliva as well.

OMG THIS WAS SUCH A GEM?!!!! From the press con in the beginning Chris and Jake did say that everyday they would hug each other and mentally be prepared for their scenes and the filming, but to see it in THIS scene? That they were helping each other to wipe away tears? And stuff? And also from the BTS videos we do see Jake trying to comfort Chris who was unable to stop crying after a take during this scene, but also to know that they were comforting each other and encouraging one another - Stebeee here is crying here too.
Soooo yeah the length looks like it’s about that, so it won’t be too hard to translate it quickly. Problem is when I’ll get the book, will do something similar to what Wei and I did for the Trapped novel.
