Tomorrow’s #midweekmovement tomorrow is 100% horizontal! Join us tomorrow at 12 - head to my bio for bookings 🌱 I was really inspired by by @jivanaheyman leading us through a #bedyoga practice as part of our @accessibleyogatraining this week. 🍃 It also reminded me that Joseph Pilates actually invented a lot of the #pilates equipment through working with people in their hospital beds - the springs on the #reformer and #traptable were inspired by hospital bed springs! I’ll sharing Pilates inspired isometric strength and stability work, lots of joint mobilization and easing into a couple of my #yinyoga favorites and then relaxation. Since knees are often the reason why someone might not be able to get down on the floor for yoga, we’ll be giving the knees, hips and ankles special attention. We won’t have to break out the bedsprings to do this class though - a pillow and a regular yoga strap, scarf or theraband will be fine. I will be sharing some strength building moves but there will be lots of options so you can practice in the that feels right for you (including from your bed if you like!). We’ll also be saving this class to our online library if you can’t make the session tomorrow but like the sound of yoga that you don’t have to get out of bed for 😉 . . . . . . #gardenofyoga #accessibleyoga #yogaforeverybody #yogaforallbodies #pilatesforall (at Garden of Yoga) https://www.instagram.com/p/CFbkootjS5X/?igshid=k6j5f1asmkem
