Trash Knife adjacent, my project knives came in today! They’re going to need a little work, cause the edges aren’t consistent and I don’t know about this enamel finish, but I think they could come out pretty good after I re-grind the edges and stonewash them.

Update for the Trash Knife fans

Project is on hold for a bit, as the weather has quite frankly been dogshit.

I’ll come back with more updates when it isn’t freezing ass cold and wet outside.

After shattering approximately seven thousand would be spacers I lovingly carved out of decent Ash, I have successfully created one from a broken Lowes brand yard stick

We have finally reached parity with the progress of the project before The Incident occurred.

Day before last I milled a slot for the knife to sit in, today I rough cut the profile with a hacksaw, and started testing finishes on chunks i’d cut off, like the one above.

Trash Knife clarification: The Knife survives, in all it’s miserable glory. The grip however, probably disturbed some passing birds as it sailed into the bush with half a drill bit stuck inside it.
