New Collab Lawlight Fic
me and @seventhfracture aka TrashKing wrote a fic together! it's a hypnotism fic with our usual signature "more beneath the kinky surface" vibe. first chapter is up, and should post every Friday/Saturday (we're in two v opposite timezones lol). Hope y'all enjoy!
Scar Over the Wound | chapter 1
“What will it take?” Light stands, big shoulders, big chest, puffed into a great beast of a prisoner. “What will convince you I’m innocent? A lie detector test? A background check? Because being around me all the time has done nothing to assure you, or maybe you’re just too up your own ass to admit that you simply enjoy being cruel.”
Silence, true silence, lays over the room. L blinks, coffee caught in his lashes, and stares into the venomous hole that is Light’s anger. He tilts his head, catches where the corner of the other man’s lip trembles, and forms a plan. How does one catch a brat? Why, you put out a glue trap. Or was that rats? Index and thumb dug into the flesh, L worries his bruising jaw with a slight grin.
“Let me hypnotize you,” he says.
(Tensions are running high during the Yotsuba case when Light privately consents to being hypnotized. What better way to prove his innocence, right? L’s keen to jump on any blood in the water but things take an unexpected turn.)
