I'm very curious about "Copper and Gold" ??? Tell us a little about it??
I answered this one here first, but I'm really fond of this one so NEW SNIPPET!! It's a sequel to my fantasy Shigadeku fic Nickel and Silver, where Tomura and Izuku are finally working together to take over the world fix the factions make things right :3
A smile twitches Izuku's lips, and Tomura blinks. Then, rummaging in his bag, Izuku declares, "I have something for you." He pulls out a small vial triumphantly, slinking up closer to Tomura with a shy glance at him through his lashes. "You can think of it like a late wedding present."
Tossing the ruined plum aside, Tomura carefully plucks the vial from his husband's scarred hands. Something glows inside, brilliant green and flickering, and it takes Tomura a moment to recognize what it is. His eyes widen. "Is this Greek fire?"
Izuku folds his hands over Tomura's, cupping the vial and flushing slightly. "We're going into battle together. I have a weapon, and I know you have your magic, but... I-I just wanted you to have something else, just in case."
"Extra protection," Tomura expands, his cheeks warming a bit when Izuku nods enthusiastically. Then, jaw setting, Tomura clutches the vial in his fist and storms back in the cottage. He slams the door in Izuku's face with a barked, "Wait there!"
Izuku knocks timidly, but Tomura locks the door and ignores him. He opens his pack and digs around inside for one of the bundles of bones at the bottom, growling when it takes him too long to find the one he wants.
By the time Tomura is done, Izuku has begun to knock more insistently on the door, awkward apologies echoing through the painted wood. He shuts his mouth when Tomura flings open the door, shrinking a bit beneath Tomura's looming form before he notices what he's holding. Izuku gasps and holds his arms out eagerly, and ghost-green rabbit hops happily into his grasp. "Beanie!"
"I can't believe you already named it," Tomura huffs, even though he chose that set of bones for that exact reason. Of all the ghostly little animals that lingered around the cottage due to Tomura's magic, the dumb little bunny was Izuku's favorite. He'd often lamented about never being able to pet it.
The now semi-corporeal, glowing rabbit snuggles into Izuku's arms, tail practically vibrating with contentment. By the look on Izuku's face, if he had a tail, it'd be doing the same. The thought makes Tomura snort.
