Werewolf Golden Swan Graham Beauty: Ain't nothing prettier than Rumple in lingerie. His mates all agree.

Rum never gave much thought to what people wore to bed.  He usually collapsed in whatever he was wearing, or changed into flannel bottoms and an old t-shirt.  Graham didn’t wear anything.  Belle, the first time, didn’t wear anything either, but the first time she planned to spend the night she brought with her blue lace and satin, a gown so sheer he could see her nipples and panties that matched.  Rum was entranced.

Belle, it turned out, had a whole drawer full of lingerie.  Emma was more practical, tending towards t-shirts or sweats, but once she and Belle surprised them with matching red corset and panty combinations when Bae was on a overnight with a friend.  It had been a very memorable night.

It wasn’t an accident that one of Belle’s sets remained at his house.  He might have hidden it when she was downstairs, tucking it in his drawer so she wouldn’t take it home.  The silk was so soft that he loved to touch it.  It was plainer than most of what she wore, the pale pink silk floating around her, ending just at her hips.  Once Rum had even, when he was certain he was aloe at the house, slipped it on.  It wasn’t much shorter on him than Belle, and as he twisted at his waist the fabric caressed his skin.  He held the panties in one hand, but it didn’t seem fair to try them on.

“Hey, can I borrow a...” Belle didn’t usually open his drawer, but they’d all been caught in the rain and she was drenched.  Rum stood, paralyzed, when she held up the pink lingerie in one hand.  “You found it.  I’m so glad, I was beginning to think my washing machine ate it.”

“I, um, meant to...”  Rum didn’t know what to say.  It would be a lie to say he was going to give it back to her.  

“You can tell her, you know.  She won’t be mad.”  Graham had stripped out of his clothes already but hadn’t bothered to get dressed again.  He was sitting cross legged in the middle of the bed.  Emma hadn’t bothered taking off her wet clothes yet.

“Tell her?”  He had been so careful, hadn’t thought anyone had seen him, but then again Graham was aware of everything around him.  He’d lived as a wolf so much longer and knew how to use all of his senses.

Graham stood up, walking over to where Rum was standing and spread his hand over Rum’s chest, covering his racing heart.  “There are no rules here, except for what works for the four of us.  The rules that others live by don’t matter to us.  Forget what anyone else would say.”

“I wanted to know what it felt like.  I tried it on.  The top,” he clarified, not looking at her.  “Not the panties.”

“Did you like it?”  Belle held the lingerie in her hand as she closed the room.  Rum wondered if it was an accident when she grazed his arm with it.

“It’s soft, but it’s also...”  He didn’t know how to express the way it felt. For a few moments when he wasn’t worried about what he’d done it had felt freeing. “Something else.  Like when we’re all touching and focused on each other.”

“I think we’d all like to see, wouldn’t we?”  Emma pulled her wet shirt over her head.  “They say things are easier when you picture your audience naked.  What do you say?”

“Are you sure?”  None of them seemed surprised, and that made it easier.  he only had the voice in his own head calling him a pervert for wanting to wear something that was meant for women.  The voice sounded a lot like his father and his ex-wife.

“Only thing I’m not sure about is pink being your color, but we can pick you up something new once we figure out what style you like best.  I’m thinking red might be a good color.”  Emma shimmied out of her pants, sitting on the edge of the bed in nothing but her underwear.  “What do you think, Belle?”

“I saw a purple camisole and panties the other day that would look awesome on him.”  Belle held out the lingerie.  “Please, Rum?  We’d like to see you.”

He was too nervous to change in front of them, taking the pink silk into the connecting bathroom.  The counter was covered in jars and pots from both women, a stack of four towels on one corner waiting for their next bath or shower.  He put the lingerie on top of the towels while he stripped out of his clothes.  He wasn’t quite sure how long he stood in the bathroom naked before taking a deep breath and pulling the camisole over his head.  The fabric settled just above his waist, the lace trim tickling his belly lightly.

He held the panties in his hand.

“Rum, sweetheart?”  Belle called out. 

“You don’t have to show us.”  Graham’s voice was closer to the door.

“But we are all naked out here and totally excited to see you,” Emma added.  “And you know what happens when we’re excited.”

“You can do this,” Rum muttered to himself.  It was just his pack, after all.  Emma and Belle had accepted what he was, and Graham had proven time and again that society’s rules didn’t affect him.  He used one hand to balance against the counter before stepping into the panties.  The lace was stretchy enough that he was able to pull them over his cock.  They were lighter than anything he’d worn before.  They didn’t allow him to swing free, but he liked the way he was so lightly bound.

He couldn’t quite make himself look in the mirror.

“I think I like it.”  Emma was the first to comment.

Prompt: Halloween's on a full moon. Belle, a sucker for the holidays, decides to spend it with her wolf boys.

Noah stood on the outer edge of the group, biting his lip nervously and staring up at the moon.  It wasn’t long now.  “Maybe you should go, Belle.”

“You don’t have to worry about me, sweetheart.”  Belle was leaning against Graham, the Maine evening a chilly one and Graham was always as warm as an oven.  “The wildest thing in these woods tonight are my three wolf boys, and we know none of you would hurt me.”

“But what if...”

“Papa, you’ve never hurt anybody when you were a wolf.  Belle’s safe.  My phone has games on it if you get bored though, Belle,” Bae added.  He was as excited as Gold was nervous.  He’d never wolfed out on Halloween  “It’s too bad you can’t run with us.”

“I’ll be here waiting for you.”  Belle ruffled Bae’s hair with amused affection before dropping Graham’s hand.  Gold was visibly inching away from the group, and Belle stopped him.  “Noah, do you remember the first time we me, when you were a wolf?”

“You ran from me.”  Which was a normal and human and safe response, Gold wanted to add.

“I did, because I didn’t know you then.  But even when i was running you did nothing more than bring me my book back.  You’re the kindest and gentlest man I know, no matter what form you’re in.  And I want to celebrate this night with you.”  She’d brought a picnic to the forest, and had surprised them by wearing a red riding hood costume.  Graham had whispered to her earlier that once Bae was gone to school in the morning he hoped she might model just the cape for both of them. 

“But...”

“You trust me, don’t you?”  Graham moved quietly, joining them to stand behind Belle.

“Of course,” Gold said without hesitation.

“I give you my word that no one will get hurt tonight.  The worst thing that will happen is the blackmail photos Belle will probably take of our wolf selves playing with the pumpkins, because you know she can’t resist.”

“I really can’t,” Belle agreed with a laugh.  She held Noah’s hand and leaned in toe kiss him.  “Trust us all, sweetheart.”

Noah felt the hairs on the back of his neck twitch.  It was time.

“Happy Halloween,” Bae shouted.  And then he howled.

Shall Not Covet: A Day in the Life

Summary: Barney Thomson has spent most of his life being mocked and ridiculed. No one enjoys this past time more than his own brother, Allan, but Allan's wife Belle has had enough. When she finally takes a stand in Barney's defense, a new world is introduced to the both of them that neither were at all prepared for. (AU of the books, spoiler free!)

There was something about doing mundane things in public together with Belle that made Barney’s heart flutter. There were very few things that could bring him down on days that he spent with Belle; even his coworkers noticed his oddly uplifted spirit lately, and seemed perturbed that their jokes no longer seemed to touch him. And on days like today, when the perpetual rain and dark clouds had made way for bright sunshine, nothing could make Barney Thomson feel down.

He even made the last minute decision to swirl his ice cream, both chocolate and vanilla, and felt rather daring as he took a swipe from the top of the cone. Belle had gotten something neon blue that smelled vaguely minty, and the combination confused him but he couldn’t chase his smile away long enough to ask what it was. The vendor had smiled at Barney’s obvious infatuation and commented on how cute the two of them were. The implication that they were a couple, an actual real-life couple, made Barney’s head spin even as his heart jolted to a stop. He wondered if he should correct the man, the thought paining him, but Belle swooped in with a wide grin and a simple “thank you”. She hadn’t corrected him, had been content to let the man assume that they were together-together, and Barney felt like he was floating. The two held their cones in one hand and kept their free hands entwined together as they walked along the sand, Belle squealing in delight when the warmth squished between her toes over her sandals. Barney looked out over the ocean, took in the screaming children splashing each other, and realized he hadn’t been this happy in a long, long time.

Or ever. It might have been ever.

But unfortunately his luck didn’t seem to have gotten the message that he was having the best day of his life. Either that or it was just a very malicious seagull that decided it also felt daring enough to strive for a swirly cone and - would you look at that? - one just happened to be walking past! Either way, an angry bird was soon diving against Barney’s hand, determined to get some of his confectionary treat. Belle pulled back instinctively, a shrill scream escaping her throat in one short note that cut off rapidly in disbelief. Barney had dropped his cone in a sad splat against the ground, but the gull decided that the human was still standing too close to his hard-won treat. Beady eyes loomed before Barney’s face before talons tangled in his hair, and he waved his arms madly trying to scare the flying devil away. He was soon aware of Belle cupping her hands gently under the evil thing and shoving it towards the sky, where it soon took with a raucous squawking.

Barney stared at the melting ice cream by his shoe, afraid that their day had come to an abrupt and awkward end. A snorting sound from his right caught his attention and he chanced a glance toward his date. Belle was laughing. Beyond that, there were tears of mirth gathered in her eyes and beginning to fall across her flushed cheeks and she held a hand over her mouth. She fought to speak but didn’t have the air, doubling over and clutching at her abdomen as Barney stood staring at her blinking uselessly. He felt his eyes crinkling before he felt the grin that had overtaken him, but a thin scratch on his head throbbed a bit too much for him to join in on her laughter.

If being the most unlucky idiot in the world was enough to amuse Belle then they were set for life, he mused as she continued to laugh.

Talking over coffee was so normal as to almost be cliche, but Barney wouldn’t have traded it for anything. Especially when after they finished Belle revealed, almost shyly, that she wasn’t ready to go home yet. He was completely on board, and opened his mouth to ask what she wanted to do instead (a nice movie, or perhaps even another walk along the shore?) when Belle grabbed the collar of his shirt and tugged him into an alley.

Ah. Well it hadn’t been on his list, but he would be a fool to question her.

Her lips were plastered to his as she pushed him against the rough brick, the narrow passageway just dark enough to keep them concealed from passersby. Barney took a moment to revel in the fact that no matter how many times he kissed her, he never got tired of her taste. This time, layered atop her normal sweet flavor, was the herbal tea and mint she had just drank, and Barney did his damndest to lick it from the roof of her mouth. He wondered if he tasted like anything underneath all the coffee he had just consumed. That’s about all he had time for before Belle returned the favor of searching his mouth with her tongue, and his mind went completely blank of everything but feeling.

No, Barney didn’t want to go home either. Knowing that they had to eventually was no deterrent; in his mind, in this moment in this alley, they could stay forever.

It still wasn’t right.

He tilted it a bit to the left and took a step back, immediately grunting under his breath. No. He stepped forward and poked it gently with his finger until it shifted back to the right. When he stepped back this time, he thought it looked okay, but he had never trusted his own opinion. This was his first present from Belle, and it had to be perfect. He lifted both hands and made an L shape with them, matching up the curve of his palm to the corners of the plaque. It was finally straight! And it had only taken...twenty-six minutes, he noted with a grimace. He finally nodded at his kitchen wall, giving the new ornament his blessing to hang properly.

The sudden silence caught Barney’s attention, and he realized that Agnes had finally turned off the television. Yes, it was around seven, and that was when her soaps finally ran out until the next morning. She appeared at his shoulder, her gate stiff from sitting for hours. It didn’t take her long to spot the new addition to their abode.

“Oh, you’ve got to be kiddin’ me. You havin’ a laugh, Barney?”

“No, I’m not,” he informed her, trying to keep his voice strong in the face of her disbelief. “It’s classic.”

He headed to the bedroom without another word, leaving his wife to stand and stare at the Home is Where the Heart is plaque that now hung above their sink.

Meanwhile, across town and standing under a matching sign, Belle holds a hand to her stomach and stares at her empty kitchen until the tears finally come. This wasn’t part of their unspoken plan, and she suddenly feels like a fool for believing they could make this work.

Fic: Dessert (Red/Lizzie)

I’ve been in a slump lately.  This is the longest thing I’ve managed in weeks.  Lizzington might be my writing cure.

“I have been eyeing that panna cotta since before we sat down.  It’s the raspberries on top, they look like the definition of summer.  Lizzie, shall we split one or order two?”  Red glanced at her for just a moment before turning back to the waitress.  “I think one will be enough.  Two would be positively sinful after that meal.”

“I hate you.”  She waited until the waitress was gone before glaring at Red.

“Trust me on this, sweetheart.  It’s something you’ll enjoy.”  Most people wouldn’t recognize Red’s smirk, not the one he was giving her.  It was a look he used on few others, too subtle to be appreciated.  A look that told her he knew exactly what he was doing.

“You know what I’d like to be enjoying right now.”  She shouldn’t have worn a dress.  She knew that he took it as an open invitation, he just didn’t usually take it so far.  There was a difference between a little teasing and whatever it was he was doing.  

“Patience is its own reward.”  She would have glared at him for that one but he twitched his finger and it was all she could do to bite her lip and keep from making a noise.  If people knew what he could do with only the touch of a few fingers he’d be on a very different most wanted list.  “And after dessert comes I’ll make sure other things come as well.”

“Did you really just say that?  That was bad.”  She meant to clump her legs shut but somehow found herself spreading them wider instead.  Thank god Red liked places with linen tablecloths, not the diner booths she was used to.  No one could he his hand between her thighs, the dress pushed up to her waist.  Sometimes he teased, fingers caressing her thighs, his foot rubbing against the back of her leg.  Never before had he had his fingers inside her panties while they sat surrounded by others.

“Not my best line but I did have other things on my mind.  Have I mentioned tonight how good you smell?”  The kiss at her jawline might have seemed sweet to anyone happening to glance in their direction.  Fortunately they couldn’t hear the words he whispered in her ear.

“Are you sure about the raspberry pudding thing?”  It would be delicious, of course.  She loved Sam but he had raised her on boxed mac and cheese and a lot of frozen dinners.  Eating with Red was a whole different food experience.

“Panna cotta.  It means cooked cream and the Italians have raised a few simple ingredients to an art form.  One time I was staying at a winery in Vercelli and…”

“Your dessert, sir.  And champagne, a gift from the house.”  The waitress returned with a plate and two flutes of champagne.  Red tipped very well, something that was noted and appreciated whenever they went out.

“Thank you dear.  Please send our compliments to the chef for his delightful meal.”  After taking a bite he held out the spoon.  “you have to try this Lizzie.  It’s so wonderfully moist.”

“Red.”  His finger moved in tiny circles, not close enough to her clit to push her over the edge but close enough that it wasn’t the dessert’s moistness that she noticed.  He seemed to be making a game of keeping her aroused enough that her whole body was screaming, never ebbing for more than a minute.  Never able to forget or to focus for long on anything else.

“Open your mouth, sweetheart.  Close your eyes and just let your senses overwhelm you.”  He ran the spoon over her lower lip.  She opened her mouth, eyes closing because she trusted him.  The panna cotta was cool and creamy, and just a little tart.  The finger that pushed inside of her, on the other hand, was warm and probing.

“You have two minutes, Red, or I swear to god I go to the lady’s restroom and you miss all the fun.”  She downed the champagne in two sips, the room spinning for a moment as she stretched and felt his finger inside of her.

“Now Lizzie do you really think a little thing like a sign o a door would keep me out?  Half the fun is the look on your face when you come and I’d hate to miss that.”  He was smiling but his hand caressed her cheek and there was tenderness in his touch.  “You are so beautiful.”

“If Dembe wasn’t waiting in the car I’d do you right there.  Maybe the restroom isn’t such a bad idea.”  She was joking.  Mostly.

“Trust me, it’s a mood ruiner if you get your foot stuck in the toilet.  Besides I’d much rather see you naked.  I like to use all my senses when I’m with you; touch and sight and taste.”  She gasped at the edge of the table when he pulled out his finger, grazing her clit, moving her panties into place.  She could see the dampness on his finger before he licked it away.

“We’re going, Red.  Now.”  She drank his champagne as well.  Perhaps she was a little wobbly as she stood and maybe people would make assumptions about her drinking.  Better that than to guess that it was arousal that made her light headed.

He took her arm and kept her steady as they left the restaurant.  Thankfully their hotel was only a short drive away.
