Hulk (2003) was the only live action movie that understood Bruce Banner as a character and no amount of weird editing could ever take away how much I love and appreciate that movie, it has been my favourite superhero movie since I was a child, I have rewatched it numerous times as an adult and it hits a personal heart string that barely any other movie has ever hit, I'd even confidently say it has personally healed something in me that I still carry with me until this day, unironically one of my favourite movies of all time and I am so grateful that childhood me had something to attach myself to when I needed to see a mirror of myself in a superhero.
Bruce Banner and all his parts are some of my favourite characters in all media and they mean so much to me, from Hulk (2003) to Immortal Hulk even to The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction.
That movie was never boring to me, it was healing and beautiful and understanding and treated trauma with such respect and all the seriousness it deserves.
They could never make me hate you Ang Lee, I love what you did for the character.
