Ch1: Cozumel

It’s early Wednesday morning and I leave tomorrow for my first cruise EVER! I’m super super excited for this experience. I figured out that you don't actually need a passport (?) I can just use my birth certificate (??????) which is really upsetting because I wanted a stamp in the passport booklet. Next time. 

I began packing and realized that there was loads of things that I missed. Tomorrow is the final day to get everything situated. Now just need to finish packing, charge my GoPro, and enjoy my trip.

Cozumel: Intro

A cruise to Cozumel. My biggest dream somehow worked its way into my biggest fear. My mom always wanted to go on a cruise and I shot her down due to my irrational aquaphobia/thalassophobia (fear of deep water), but thinking about all of the pros, I’m open to it. Within the last few years I realized that all I want to do is travel and document where I go, experience new things, and just adventure all the time and this could be the beginning of that. 

I brought up the idea to my mom after looking at someone’s pictures from the Bahamas on instagram and she suggested a cruise to Cozumel. Equally perfect, minus the pig beaches. 

So basically, I’m doing this for me; documenting the days I spend on the ship and in Cozumel so I won’t forget the amazing time I know I’ll have on this senior trip.

Checklist: 

- get a passport

- actually get on the ship

- take pictures and great memories home with me

*Hopefully this is the first of many trips to come*
