Emmett Tells Travis he’s autistic
It is a Friday afternoon, and Emmett is waiting at home for Travis to get home from a 24 hr shift. Emmett has the day off from Crisis One Travis walks in from work, and They hug and kiss. Travis tells Emmett he is gonna shower. About 15 mins later, Travis walks out to the Living room, where Emmett is working on an Assignment for Grad school so he can get his B.F.A.
T: “Hey Em,” Travis says.
E: “Oh, Hey Trav.”
T: “Whatcha working on?”
E: “Oh, Just an Essay on Vincent Van Gogh.”
T: “That’s so cool. Hey um, what do you want for-?”
E: “I’m Autistic.” Emmett blurts out, all of a sudden.
T: “Whaa?”
E: “I’m Autistic.” “I hope that doesn’t change the way you look at me.”
T: “Emmett, of course, that doesn’t change the way I look at you. I love you Babe.”
E: “Really, you mean it?”
T: “Of Course baby, I love you.”
E: “I love you too Trav.”
T: “So, like I was about to ask. Haha. What do you want for dinner?”
E: “Wanna go get Japanese? I got paid today.”
T: “Heck yeah. Sounds yummy.”
E: “Sweet. Lemme go get dressed.”
Emmett and Travis go out to eat and then enjoy the rest of their day
