nocturne!yoongi i love you
“Why, this must be fate then, my sweet. I do love you dearly as well.” He smiles softly, reaching out his hand to you. “Would you come with me, deep into the forest, to let me show you just how much?”
Ask my muses
"you're so annoying, let me kiss you." - yoongi
9. at least you’re the right kind of cheater.
yoongi had a bad habit. the kind that was going to find him lacking a girlfriend if he kept on it. yes, a homewrecking habit. he was a born cheater—but not the sort that one would initially believe.
she was staring at his empty hands, pissed as a hornet whose nest had been beaten with a baseball bat. “don’t bullshit me, yoongi. I know you slipped the cards while I was getting the beers. I’m not an idiot.”
“I swear on freddie mercury’s grave that I didn’t.”
she gestured at the card pile between them, which was hardly a pile since he had won the game in approximately six minutes. “well you’ve just screwed the poor guy, because there’s no way your entire hand was wild cards.”
yoongi shrugged. “what can I say, I’m the uno god.”
“what you are is a goddamn cheater,” she accused, pointing an infuriated finger at him. “you do this every time. when we’ve played monopoly, when we’ve played sequence. even freaking scrabble! you’re not slick—you’re predictable!”
“or maybe you’re just bad,” suggested yoongi, sipping his cold beer, doing his very best to not smirk around the rim. she had inched closer to him on the couch over the period of their argument, and yoongi had noticed her movements like a hawk. he knew what was coming. what always came.
“you’re so… so—annoying,” she growled, and then she was kissing him. the angry kind; all fiery lip-biting passion. yoongi was grinning like the winner he was against her mouth as she said, “we’re done. I’m breaking up with you.”
and if he was the world’s grandest cheater, then she was the world’s biggest liar. they made quite the pair.

god i started shaking and teared up, this fandom has become so toxic and as someone who has seen them grow since 2013, it makes me so sad to see people leave because they can't express their VALID opinions without being harassed and bullied. i hope that everyone realizes that people are allowed to have opinions different from yours and that fandom is not about who is the best and setting records 1/?
sure, it’s great to see them grow as artists and setting records and winning awards but fandom is about fun. it’s about enjoying the content, it’s supporting the artist in whichever way you deem correct for YOU. stop forcing people to stream and vote. not everyone sits in front of their laptops and phones and not everyone wants to engage that much because they’re here for the fun, for the music. 2/?
attacking someone for having an opinion is inhumane and rude. you literally get nothing out of it besides attention and upsetting so many people. bts wants us to spread love and kindness and y'all want them to be on top but at what cost? they literally say it so many times to spread kindness and positivity and that everyone has opinions they are free to fucking have yet y'all jump on the first chance to attack someone for that? 3/?
please get that toxicity and negativity out of the fandom, spend some time outside. bts does not need to be the best, they don’t always need to be on top. get your negativity away, put that energy into something more productive. i don’t fucking care how old or young you are, how long you’ve been in the fandom, rudeness and hate won’t get you anywhere. peace out. i love you babes
god really i can’t believe it’s escalated to this and genuinely i agree with you whole-heartedly. being a fan isn’t meant to be a job, it’s meant to be fun and i don’t know why people like to ruin things for others.
liking an artist should be just that… just liking them. you’re no less of a fan if you don’t buy x,y,z or you don’t stream videos or whatever. i’m sure bts loves being successful just as the next person does but people seem to forget that they aren’t all about the numbers, that they love their fans for more than just that. if they really did care about numbers, sales and popularity so so so much, why do they release fan songs on soundcloud for us, free of charge? why are their mixtapes released on soundcloud for free? time and time again in their ending ments in concerts, they mention that what’s important to them is that their music speaks to their fans, that they love reading our letters, hearing our stories.
i dont know where all this negativity comes from because that’s not what bts is about. their music, their actions like never once do they encourage the malicious behaviour that some fans present. listen bts is great i love them but life is bigger than just them… and a lot of people simply don’t have the time to vote/stream/buy and etc even if they wanted to. who is anyone to judge what a good fan is? if you like them, you’re bound to listen to their song, bound to talk about them to your friends, at least even in passing. i understand that some fans are passionate but really where do you draw the line? why isn’t listening to their songs enough? why isn’t watching their video whenever you want to, enough? the boys make music in order to be heard, not to have it played on your computer while you’re away or out of your house doing something else. they make those videos, curated an intricate story line for you to enjoy wholly, not for you to just get bots to auto-replay it.
i get it, the dedication of the fans is what in part, made them what they are today. yes, thank you for voting, thank you for buying their stuff, thank you for your hard work but why are you doing what the media does to them? why are you reducing them to just numbers? they are more than just that. like you want to do all of that then great for you, i applaud you for your dedication but never ever harass someone into doing what you do. sure a reminder to vote or to watch or to buy is fine and if someone is so inclined to do it, they will, so don’t go around blatantly forcing people and then ridiculing them for not doing it.
i am so upset that kylie has been basically driven off her blog when she’s done so much, when she’s essentially done more than what money can buy. the reason for bts’ success is also in part of the many fan translators and this… now this is something that’s bigger than just sales etc. it’s about bridging communities, allowing people outside of the korean/japanese speaking world to understand their content. to attack someone that has done such a service for our community over what is a differing opinion is actually god fucking awful.
lastly, mic drop did so well because it had steve aoki and desiigner on it. those are two well known artists with their own set of fans that would of course listen to the song. fake love may not reach what mic drop had but that doesn’t make it any less of a great song. bts isn’t any less of an artist if they don’t constantly break records. first and foremost they want you to enjoy their music. as with all artists, across all types of media will tell you, it isn’t really the numbers but it’s feedback that matters and they’ll know you love what they’re making when they see you tweet @ them, when they see you sing your heart out at the concerts/shows, when they see your comments on their videos, when you let them know on the vlive chat. that love right there, that’s genuine love for the boys. streaming, sales and all of that, it’s the equivalent of buying gifts for your partner, it’s appreciated yes, of course it is but often times, just being there, just enjoying their presence is what is cherished the most. so whether you have all the albums or you have none, as long as you love the boys and support them in whatever way you can, then that’s enough. you’re just as much of a fan as the next person even if you don’t have the spending power or the time as others have. as said above, bts preaches love and kindness so please think twice before you send a hateful message. we are all simply people united by the love for those special 7 boys so there’s no need to divide ourselves up within the fandom okay? just do you. please, just everyone take one step back, breathe, and avoid spreading negativity.
sigh, i love you luna and i love all of you out there. let’s try to make this place better huh?
