Thank you to everyone. We will now be contacting those who signed up with answered questions and assignments. If you have no received the email with the subject “Welcome Creators!” from the TRCzine email please either replay to this post, IM this blog, or reach out on Discord or via email (if you have it).
A check-in schedule will be forth coming once everyone receives and confirms that they are okay with their assigned role in the TRCzine. Looking forward to working with everyone!
I AM 1,000 YEARS LATE, but: my final piece for @trcfanzine. I thought it’d be interesting to show my original sketch and the finished product, side-by-side.
The card I was assigned to was The Fool, and I chose to draw Gansey, because 1) after researching this card, I felt the ideas behind it fit him and his arc best and 2) I am a fool for Gansey.
I chose to interpret some of the standard “fool” imagery rather loosely - Gansey’s not wearing a full jester’s costume, but instead his Dick costume. He’s looking up, oblivious of the shadowy figures that surround him. The sun shines brightly outside.
Enough rambling - if you haven’t, check out the blog for all the finished pieces! It’s so cool! I had a lot of fun doing this and I am so grateful to have been able to participate!
