erina sleeps soundly in her room, with her head tucked into her chest.

[baby is sleeping like an infant]

doyoung and yedam marvel at her sleeping position, with her back completely curved inwards and her head stretched to her chest.

"wow, how can she sleep like that?" "won't this position hurt her upper back and neck?"

"cmon let's take a picture quickly" they push their face up to erina's blanket-covered face [in a deep sleep, she miraculously didn't even move a muscle]

they attempt to wake her up with a song but that doesn't work

[dumbfounded at the failed wakeup concert]

they decide to rock her back and forth to get her up from her deep sleep state

"ahh...no please..my head hurts" "please oppa...i can't"

[they laugh at her whining and console her]

" ah..please.. five minutes more!"

do this mission and we will let you sleep [doyoung coaxes her out of her sleep cocoon]

"name all treasure members in 10 seconds" "ready...go!"

"choi hyunsuk, park jihoon, yoshi, junkyu, mashiho, yoon jaehyuk, asahi, bang yedam, doyoung, haruto jeongwoo, junghwan" erina spits out in a grogily state.

[erina impressively completes mission in 6 seconds]

"oHO just like a rapper!" yedam exclaims [the maknae is an all rounder] "now you can sleep" doyoung tucks her back into bed, and she nods clumsily and goes back to sleep

“last night she was making a track, I guess she slept late” ye dam tells the camera

“Our member works so hard, she needs all the sleep she can get” [hard working princess needs sleep]

"doyoung definitely looks after erina" yedam remarks

when checking erina's room, they marvel at the number of posters and figurines she has all over the room.

"so, i have posters of all the anime and shows I'm watching, and the oldest one I have is of pokemon" "I bought it when I was 9"

"what is your favorite pokemon?" "definitely pikachu, but evee is the cutest and best pokemon" "she evolves into all types of elements everyone!" she exclaims cutely, making both the members coo at her and exclaim "cute!"

i also have my desk with some art and craft things, my desktop where I make music, and some textbooks" "oh, so are they all in English?" "except for language textbooks, yes they are all in English" "oh our baby is so smart everyone, study hard!"

so what is the rating?" erina inquires. "hmm..since it was so clean and tidy, we both decide to give an 8.5" "Ah thank you" [she smiles at the rating, showing off her eye smile]

— ASAHI. (asarika)

the weird but also very caring older brother. he joined the company approximately a year after ririka, so she took the then mostly shy and quiet boy under her wing, only to one day find out that he was only shy and quiet in the beginning. he makes her laugh more than anyone else and she is one of the only people who truly understands him.

— YEDAM. ( yerika )

these two are nearly as awkward with eachother as asahi and yedam are. yedam can be a very shy person, and so can ririka, so these two aren't necessarily close friends, because any kind of one-on-one interaction between them ends in both of them being embarassed and laughing into a pillow, but when they are with the other members they feel more comfortable and they are slowly learning to outgrow this phase of their friendship.

in ririka's mind, doyoung is one of the sweetest people in the world and must be protected at all costs. she encourages him whenever she can and they often practice with each other. since he recently started teaching her how to play the piano, they spend a lot of time with each other practicing.

— HARUTO. ( harika )

he is one of ririka's best friends. they joined yg during the same audition processes and have been inseparable ever since. haruto quickly took her to his heart and at this point they are as close as family. they understand each other on a deep level and would support the other through everything they want to achieve. he was also the first person besides her parents who knew about her endometriosis. this is one of the reasons why he is very protective of her. he also takes care of her whenever her illness keeps her bedridden and she is kept awake at night by convulsions.

their relationship is best summed up as pranksters-in-crime. jeongwoo has an idea to prank the other members and needs some help? say no more, ririka is in. they also have a small competition going on because their vocal skills are nearly on the same level, which is how they encourage each other to improve. he also often acts like ririka's older brother even though she is a couple months older than him.

junghwan is her child. she does not care that he is only a year younger than her, to her she is a complete baby. it doesn't help that he calls her 엄마 sometimes. she is also the only girl he is comfortable talking too, and even this took him quite a while.

hyunsuk is co-leader of the group, so he feels responsible for ririka, as she is one of the youngest in the group. it took him a while to realize that ririka was very capable of deciding to be responsible ( or in some cases irresponsible ) for herself, thank you very much. however, he makes sure she doesn't overdo it and always keeps an eye on her. he has also jokingly said before, that one day he wants a daughter like ririka, to which she responded with puppy eyes "but you already have me? 🥺👉👈"

— JIHOON. ( jirika )

while he is a few years older than ririka and sometimes tries to act like an older brother to her, they mostly end up being that dumb friend duo together. ririka is aware that he sometimes needs a break from all the responsabilities he feels as co-leader of the group and she knows exactly how to take this weight of his shoulders.

her older brother, basically. not as protective as haruto, but he has always been there for her, when she needed him and vice versa. they joined yg during the same audition process and have since then formed a strong bond with each other. she confides in him for things that she doesn't feel comfortable telling other people about.

— JUNKYU. ( kyurika )

ririka helped junkyu a lot with his self-esteem during yg treasure box and the have only grown closer since. junkyu did not really have any close female friends growing up, but he soon got over his awkwardness and thus became best friends with her.

— MASHIHO. ( marika )

besties, partners in crime, siblings separated at birth. does one need to say more? after minutes of knowing each other, they already behaved as if they had been friends throughout their entire lives.

— JAEHYUK. ( jaerika )

jaehyuk and ririka's relationship can sometimes be perceived as frenemies. jaehyuk often acts extremely extroverted and self-confident, in a way that ririka isn't used to at all. because of that they are sometimes a bit overwhelmed with each other. the others like to joke, that it is as if the two communicate via walkie-talkies but always end up on two different channels. because of that their friendship mostly consists of playful banter and some (for the other members) hilarious miscommunications.

#NEWS — Japanese YG trainee Yokoi Ririka accidentally joins YG Treasure Box boy group survival program as 30th member

Something surprising happened on the second episode of YG’s new survival show “YG Treasure Box”, which started airing last week on JTBC2. After last week’s cliffhanger, which had YG Entertainment’s founder and CEO Yang Hyunsuk declare to the 22 Korean trainees, that a portion of the Japanese trainees would join the survival show, we now finally know the reason for everyone’s very surprised faces at the end of the episode.

Due to some miscommunications between YG Entertainment Korea and YG Entertainment Japan Yokoi Ririka, currently the only female trainee under YG Entertainment Japan, had joined her fellow male trainees on the trip to Seoul to take part in the survival program. Yang Hyunsuk, who was present as the evaluator on the episode, was probably never seen this confused, and his confusement was only outshined by the trainee’s own shock over the matter. After some initial awkwardness Yang Hyunsuk laughed it off and apologized to her for having her come to Seoul and then made the decision along with the producers that she should at least be allowed to perform in their audition piece – ‘Juicy J’ by Freaky - along with her fellow trainees, because they had practiced it with eight members.

However, being impressed by her skills she was allowed to also perform her individual audition piece – ‘Rolling in The Deep’ by Adele – and the decision was made that with her jaw-dropping performance she had earned her spot on the show, ranking third place in the vocal category after Korean trainees Bang Yedam and Park Jeongwoo.

ririka's hair had been an absolute virgin before, so this was a complete shock for her, but she absolutely loved it.

to help her hair relax after all the bleaching during boy era, she asked to go back to black.

her stylist gave her curtain bangs, to give the look some dimension, which looked gorgeous, but ririka quickly got annoyed by them because they fell out of her ponytail all the time and got sweaty, so she let them grow out.

— MMM ERA.

there were only two short months between the 'i love you' and 'mmm' era, so she ended up keeping her hair the same color.

however, her stylist persuaded her to get a light perm.

you have no idea how happy she was when her stylist said she could finally go purple.

she had talked about this ever since before she even debuted and it came out even better than she had hoped for.

her stylist also wanted to chop a good chunk of her hair off, but respected rika's wish to keep it longer, just for a little while.
