IRS Scam
Just got a call this morning and was too tired to pay attention who was calling. I got a voicemail that I didn’t check and just hit the call back button. He tried telling me that I did my taxes wrong in 2010 and that I needed to cooperate or I was pretty much going to get a federal offense which is silly since if I had trouble back in 2010 the military would probably have contacted me as I had consulted their legal help to start learning how to fill out tax forms.
The number on my ID for this scam is (716)902-1565.
If you see this number or get a call from James Cassidy(?), please do not talk to him.
Caller states he is calling regarding ‘an enforcement action executed by the US Treasury, intending a serious attention. Ignoring this will be an intentional attempt to avoid initial appearance before a magistrate judge or a grand jury for a federal criminal offense. I wisely advice you to get in touch with us and help us help you.
If you get this call, please go to the treasury scam report and fill out a form. It will help them get this guy off the phone.
