I'm finally giving Leshy Sun some love and since spring is here I thought it would be nice giving him some spring vibes

This originally started as a Road to El Dorado meme but I liked it way too much to leave it just as a doodle so I fully rendered it and now it is its own thing too.

I really like how I did the background but I had some trouble with it like when the layer with the grass disappeared. I don't know where it went, I saved it before closing it and when I opened it the next day it was gone. Maybe I accidentally deleted it before saving it and I just didn't notice. It was late afterall. Thankfully I didn't lose much of a progress...

With the 'The Road to El Dorado' meme. Do you think your Tree and Frog could do the boat and the horse meme? Instead it is zoomed in on Moon and Sun and doing the conversation. One saying about 'the human' being a surprise with it panning out to a confused human. Then to end with them being in a boat in the middle of a pond and just being dramatic. Would that fit them?

It would have a different context and circumstances but I think it would fit c:

A dca au about nature spirits from slavic mythology. Especially from my country

Let me present you Hejkal Sun and Vodník Moon

Hejkal Sun

can be referred as Leshy

The guardian and ruler of the forest

Commands all flora and founa in his forest

Shapeshifter - can change into any forest flora or fauna (from Europe)

Sizechanging - can be as small as a blade of grass or as tall as a tree

Vodník Moon

The guardian and ruler of the lake

Commands all flora and fauna in his lake

Shapeshifter - Can change into any aquatic or semiaquatic creature (from Europe)

In this au Sun and Moon are not brothers. They're neighbors and very good buddies, knowing each other for a very, very long time. Take care for each other, help one another to protect their lands and everything that lives in there from greedy, cruel and disrespectful humans...

That's all I'm sharing for now. I don't wanna dump all at once

I just drop a little explanation here

Vodník is a Czech term for the water spirit. In English it's Vodyanoy or this is what I found

As for Hejkal, this one is a bit tricky because I think there probably is not any proper English term or I just didn't find any. And there is also that for some people Hejkal and Leshy are two different creatures and for others it's the same. So in this au Sun can be referred as both. I used features from both anyway

So you can use either hejkal or leshy for Sun and vodník or vodyanoy for Moon

And if you can't remember any of these then just call them tree Sun and frog Moon

Now how am I gonna call this au hhmmmm?... I think I shall call it

Some personal notes:

Man ngl I struggled with Sun's design. With Moon I knew how I want him but with Sun... I mean since he's a shapeshifter I can literally draw him however I want and gave him countless forms and it could be considered as canon XD but I'm talking about his representative look, the look he will be seen most of the time. In the end I think I managed, for now at least

I will draw better refs for them, some other time...
