Edit: to clarify, (since I wrote this while overheating from lack of AC during a heatwave):

If you require access to gynecological care or abortions, you by definition do not have access to male privilege, because having male privilege means you are not subject to systemic misogyny, including medical misogyny.

Radical feminists love to pretend that trans men magically gain male privilege the instant they begin identifying as men, because radical feminists don't give a single flying shit about how the world actually works. Misogyny exists. Transmisia exists. No one is going to give you a free pass to get an abortion just because you don't identify as a woman. No one's gonna give you free and accessible gynecological care just because you don't identify as a woman.

The people who are standing outside the abortion clinic threatening to shoot anyone who goes in aren't gonna apologize and wave you in because you tell them you're not actually a woman.

The fact is that being a trans man makes it even more difficult to access reproductive and gynecological care, especially if you don't "look" like a woman anymore.

Trans men and any other trans people who need access to abortions and gynecological care do not benefit from male privilege because male privilege inherently precludes the necessity for accessing """"women's healthcare"""""". People who actually have male privilege are never going to need to get an abortion. They're never going to need to go to the gynecologist. They're never going to be told that they're a horrible child murderer for having a miscarriage or an abortion.

If you could ever need to get an abortion, something that is literally illegal in many parts of the US, you by definition literally do not have male privilege. Because if your bodily autonomy is controlled and made illegal by the patriarchy you by definition don't have male privilege.

If your ""feminism"" can't even grasp the most basic realities of how systemic misogyny works in the real world outside the fantasy version in your head where gender identities work like Pokemon types and simply identifying as a man gives you access to all aspects of male privilege and removes all barriers put in place by misogyny that's been going on for hundreds of years, you're not a feminist, you're just a misogynist who's putting a progressive spin on it.

If you literally refuse to acknowledge the systemic medical misogyny that exists in the real world in your campaign to demonize and shit on trans men, you just need to admit you're not actually a feminist. And you people want to pretend it's magically not a form of oppression as soon as the victims are trans people who don't identify as women.

Just the simple fact that rad femmes don't all identify as men is proof that they literally know that they are lying when they say that identifying as a man is used to escape misogyny.

Because if they actually believed that this was true, if they genuinely believed that all they had to do to stop being affected by misogyny was to identify as a man, literally every single one of them would identify as a man.

But they don't. Because they know it's absolute bullshit and always has been. They know that identifying as a man does not magically mean that you are never the target of or impacted by misogyny.

They know that trans men do not identify as men to escape misogyny.

But they keep lying anyways, because they really blatantly hate literally all men who are marginalized in any way, especially trans men, especially trans men who are people of color or disabled or intersex or any other marginalized identity that throws all of their radfem arguments about men always being the most privileged person in the room on every axis no matter what into the fire.

Radfems know for a fact that identifying as a man will not magically save you from misogyny and will not magically erase all the misogyny you've ever experienced.

They literally know that trans men are not escaping misogyny by identifying as men. They know that simply identifying as a man does not grant you immutable male privilege and erase every single form of oppression that has ever or will ever harm you.

If rad fem's genuinely believed that identifying as a man meant you were immune to misogyny in every form, both currently and in the future and literally retroactively to when you were 5 years old, literally none of them would identify as women and we wouldn't be having this conversation in the first place.

Trans men are not privileged for identifying as men, because they are trans men. They are not cis men. You cannot separate the trans from the man or the man from the trans. We live in a society that abhors trans people. The black mark against you from being trans doesn't turn into a positive mark just because your trans identity is man instead of anything else. The only people who think that that is how this works or willfully ignorant hacks who have nothing meaningful to contribute to the conversation until they get their heads out of their asses and start listening to other people about experiences they don't have.

If radical feminists actually thought that identifying as a man was the only thing required to escape misogyny, they would all identify as men. Stop calling people masculine/male-presenting and feminine/female-presenting as though that's something you get to assign people based on the gender they were assigned at birth.

Saying AFAB people are "feminine-presenting" literally just means the only thing you care about in regards to our gender is what we currently look like, despite the fact that the majority of us are either too poor or disabled to present the way we want to, or that you will just overlook whatever our desired presentation is and just fucking assign us feminine presenting anyways.

I was literally just thinking of that screenshotted TikTok on here from a few months ago where the person was saying they were wearing their masculine clothes and it was just comfy fucking pajamas and everyone and their grandma, both on TikTok and here on Tumblr, decided that transmisia is okay now, as long as you're making fun of someone for... *checks notes* not looking enough like the gender they identify with.

Because according to everyone who reblogged that post to mock that person like they'd never known that bullying people and being transmisc is wrong, the only way to be masculine is...to be buff, and have a deep voice, and have short hair, and not have boobs, and wear nothing but Acceptably Masculine clothes.

What clothes would those be, you ask?

None! Because once you've decided that someone doesn't look trans enough and doesn't look masculine enough for their identity to be respected, nothing they can do will fucking ever be good enough. Because next you'll laugh that they're "trying too hard"

Stop calling AFAB people "feminine-presenting" and stop calling AMAB people "masculine-presenting" unless those are literally their self-identifiers. You are literally just being transmisic and exorsexist.
