Bad Girls: The Musical 14/05/17 - Becca, Lucy + Victoria
Our pal Freya performed last weekend in ‘Bad Girls: The Musical’, based on the original characters of the TV series.
The plot was set in a women’s prison in which new inmate Rachel Hicks, played by Freya Parr, is thrown in at the deep end in the hands of corrupt guard Jim Fenner, played by Sam Ford.
I have to say that my favourite characters were the two Julies, played by Jessica Dobbie and Ashley Gibbins. Their hilarious double act brought a really fun comical side to what was a much more serious storyline, alongside the odd comment from Noreen Biggs, brilliantly played by Megan Howell.
I would like to commend the rest of the cast + crew for what was a fantastic and entirely volunteer-led production; thanks for such a great show!
