synopsis — ye shunguang and fem! reader being childhood sweethearts until reader left yunkui summit as a teen because bitch ass lu convinced her she’s a burden to ye shunguang. reader was a talented and gifted disciple lu was originally going to make as the qingming sword user, but chosen ye shunguang instead due to her rare lineage. basically, instead of proxy, reader was there from the very beginning, influencing ye shunguang to be a better version of herself, and to exercise her free will for herself and not just for the sake of others.
reader sees through the bs lu is doing to ye shunguang and debates on telling yixuan. however, she bites the bullet because she doesn’t have any evidence to support her accusation against him and shifu is neck deep in her duties, girlie is also never really there besides training sessions. reader kinda resents her and those two talk it out after the whole mess in 2.5. i also like the idea of ye shiyuan reaching out to reader while he was on the run and she talks to him about the exploitation behind the other’s backs.
i was also thinking of reader being the proxy’s assistant and good friend some years later after leaving yunkui summit. I’ll most likely write in that the reader and proxy met as kids while they both were trying to fix ye shunguang’s music box and they actually kept in touch even years after the fall of the capital or whatever
I won’t be writing the whole s2 timeline for ts, the fic will be mainly taking during 2.5 and after the events of it. Idk
