Sweet summer child, you do not know Castlevania lore do you?

This image is a boss fight in Castlevania Symphony of the Night, the sequel to Rondo of Blood (Rondo is where Castlevania Nocturne is right now). These boss enemies are Sypha, Trevor, and Grant whomst we have agreed was replaced with Greta. Some fans think they are fake but in Japanese, these are literally the souls of his allies enslaved by a necromancer, revived in their coffins. Defeating them sets them free. So in short, Alucard will never know peace. Or he will after knowing much worse trauma. And if you look at Castlevania Nocturne right now, everyone of them is dealing with slavery, death and loss. Alucard and his loved ones are not different.

With the Castlevania spinoff starring Richter, Maria, and of course Alucard, the events of Symphony of the Night will definitely be adapted...

So, who’s ready for the inevitable angst of Alucard having to fight doppelgangers of his old friends Trevor, Sypha, and Greta?

Bonus points if his reaction by this point to yet another traumatic incident is “Oh, give me a fucking break.”
