Since it’s pride month, here’s some updates on my shadow children headcanons:

Jen: aspec, bi, and queer, as always. Also gives me strong gnc / genderqueer vibes.

Luke: aspec, bi, and oblivious

Trey: aspec and ply to match his “3” pun. Also he gives me nby vibes. Also: polyamorous?

Elodie: bi and queer, the only one who doesn’t strike me as aspec at all.

Mark: he’s gay ✊

Hm, how unusual that they’re all pretty much my own identities. Do I project myself into fictional character? Yes absolutely but I have no regrets.

Trey: I’ve never been more stressed in my entire life.

Concept: Mark teaching Trey how to play basketball for some bonding time

Teacher: Today, we focus on reading—

Trey: reading! Yay, finally something I’m good at.

Teacher: —reading people’s body language.

Trey: nevermind.

Trey: hey, Luke, how’s your studying for exams going?

Luke: Well I did quite a lot today lying in bed, but when I rolled over onto my stomach because my back was hurting, my bed decided to become extra soft and make me fall asleep.

Trey: …are you sure that wasn’t just you deciding to take a nap?

Luke: yes I’m sure, the bed’s obviously enchanted or something

Trey: You know those moments when I tell you something isn't a good idea?

Mark: And then I ignore you? Yeah.

So I just thought about how cute it would be if Trey had a bunch of stuffed animals to help with his anxiety, but then I realized that even if he had stuffed animals, he’d probably use a book for comfort over a teddy bear any day, because he’s just that much of a nerd.
