Milo is not naturally smooth at romance. At all.

His version of flirting is awkward half smiles, lingering looks, and saying things that sound accidental but absolutely are not.

When he likes someone, he gets quieter around them at first.

Not because he dislikes you, he’s just constantly overthinking: Did that sound weird? Was that too much? Should I have said something else.

He remembers tiny details about you without even realizing it:

your favorite drink

how you take your coffee

songs you mentioned once in passing

what makes you anxious.

He’s the kind of boyfriend who checks in with soft little questions like: “You okay?” “Need anything?” “Want me to stay?”

Physical affection takes him time, but once he’s comfortable:

Milo is deeply protective, but not in a loud macho way.

Because of his anxiety and emotional baggage, there are days he pulls inward.

On those days he may go quiet, seem distant, or need reassurance that you’re not upset with him.

If you tell him directly that you love him, he freezes for a second like his brain short circuited, then gives you the smallest, warmest smile.

He treasures quiet domestic moments more than grand gestures: sitting beside each other in silence, sharing headphones, late night talks when neither of you can sleep.

If he trusts you enough to open up emotionally, that is huge.

Milo doesn’t let people past his walls easily, so vulnerability from him is basically the purest form of love.
