I have to say that I had to think twice when asked to do an Aretha Franklin tribute primarily because I don’t have her voice plus I didn’t know enough about her beyond the best of Aretha album that featured the handful of songs I was familiar with. But, to be pushed in a way to enhance my experience and to stretch me as a vocalist felt almost as good as “Dr FeelGood” when he takes care of his business.
