I saw your non-binary blob monster thing and had to share a comparison I heard from a friend (we're both cis and science nerds...) It was something along the lines of your blobby monster being infrared or ultraviolet or another radiation outside our visible light spectrum. It's a colour we can't see and so can't imagine, but we know it's there. If the rest of us could picture it the world would be a more colourful place and more beautiful because of it.
i think the world would be a more terrifying place, what if someone feels like a thousand broken edges, bleeding and screaming into the abyss, seeing that shit on the street is gonna be weird
(some days you feel like a cotton candy beach ball that vibrates and all yah wanna do is bounce all over leaving patches of sugar sweet happiness for people)
but imagine being about to SEE how people were feeling, like a warped synesthesia, imagine the FEELING people’s emotions and mental states just because you passed too close
the tingly yellowpink joy from someone else’s cute text message tingles down your arm while you skitter away from the girl who’s seething dark rage feels like it could peel your skin off like a sandstorm - the guy from work who feels a loose floaty grey because he’s so disassociated from his own feelings after being bombarded with everyone else’s all day
that aunt who’s been tinted by the soft teal of reminiscent melancholy for so long you’ve forgotten if she ever looked different, your friend a mess of fuzzy warm orange goodwill is like a living ephemeral hug
the kaleidoscopic fragments of your poor sibling, so overwhelmed by their empathic senses they can only mirror the sensationcolourfeelings around them
the cold burn purplechrome of the man in the shadows as the knife glints
