My favourite thing about the CBC adaptation of Son of a Trickster is how hard they nailed casting what a raven wearing human skin should look like. He sprouts feathers a few episodes in and it's supposed to be some twist, like this guy doesn't look like he's constantly keeping track of all the recent nearby wolf kills to scavenge. And he wears a swishy knee-length black coat over striped skinny jeans that look like bird legs, and a goddam talon on his chest. He'll turn his eyes black and be like "Spooky! I'm actually a bird!" but the only possible reaction could be like "Yeah, I knew."
