Hmm…. Trickshot ft. Chase getting Marvin a kitten just for Marvin to treat it as his own child?
Chase happily carried the box in his hand, a big bright bow holding the lid to the bottom and little holes covered the lid as well. Chase knew Marvin was going to love this, the moment Chase saw what was inside of the box he got it right away.
“Hey, Chase...what’s with the gift?” Marvin lowered his phone, having just been lounging on his bed.
“I got you something,” Chase said.
“Am I forgetting something?” Marvin glanced at his calendar.
“I saw this and thought of you, nothing else.” Chase placed the box on the bed and sat down as well.
“You did?” Marvin felt his chest warm up. He grabbed the end of the bow and pulled, easily undoing the knot. He moved the ribbon aside and lifted the lid, immediately letting out a squeal when he saw what was inside. “You didn’t!” Marvin reached in and pulled out a small black kitten.
“Saw the little guy at the pet store, he’s the runt.”
“He’s my baby now.” Marvin held the kitten to his chest. “He’s such a cute fella.”
“That was quick.” Chase chuckled. “I was thinking Trickster for his name.”
“That’s perfect.” Marvin kissed the top of Trickster’s head, earning a little mew. “And so are you~” He added and leaned over to Chase, giving him a proper kiss.
“I should get you gifts more often.” Chase hummed.
“You should.”
