"Ah yes, our infamous transfer student. I must say, I've heard more about your supposed exploits than I have about the school itself. And from what I can see..." The teacher looked down at Akira, his exasperated expression shifting to one of sinister interest.

"You certainly enjoy getting yourself into trouble, don't you, little Phantom Thief?"

"There is a difference between flawed and dangerous. My investigation into Elpis after the incident proved that the creature you're defending became dangerous. That is the reason it had to return to its aetherial state. Would you have preferred it to be sent to Pandaemonium? I'm sure every creation has its quirks. There is no denying that fact. My own familiar has his flaws, as you so put it. He can't speak, but at least he isn't trying to harm other creations."

I owe my talents to him... but after I learned what a fraud he was I found... myself wondering if all that I am is a collection of broken pieces glued together by a self serving narcissist. I thought I knew who I was, but if Madarame-sensei's art was all a fraud then what does that make the art I create? Perhaps it had no meaning at all..." Yusuke's voice trailed off seemingly troubled as he cast his gaze down to his hands, "I do not know if incredible is the right word to describe a person who cannot understand humanity, but I appreciate the compliment regardless."

He took out his phone and started typing. He can never let down someone in need.

“It says here that the cheapest flight from Japan to the United States is from Tokyo to San Diego, with airfares starting at 7,677.66 yen. For one person. I can only imagine it’s double the price for two people. And no, I’m not coming with you, sorry. I like Japan.”

“You’re... Ren?” Hopefully he remembered right. “I hope you know what ingredients curry needs.” He doesn’t and those golden eyes of his show it. Confused shadow boy.

It’s been rather quiet when it comes to this paintball match. For everyone to be so excited and then to suddenly go quiet... were they bored already, or was this a type of strategy? 

Argalia got his answer when paintball shots were fired and hit his outfit, made only from the finest Neuvo Fabric. 

“...You’re going to pay for the cleaning of this outfit, you know.” 

And with that he returned fire from his paintball gun.

- Since coming here, Rei seemed to find herself spacing out at inconvenient moments sometimes. During class, walking in the halls - sometimes she found herself in a part of the school she didn’t expect at all. Normally, it was fine, because she got herself back on track quickly… other times, she turned a corner and ran straight into a complete stranger sometime between classes before snapping out of it.

- “O-Oh, I’m so sorry! Um…” Except, when she looked up at who it was…. it was a face she kind of recognized? Half because she’d seen him around, half because- “Oh! You’re that guy!” she’d blurted out before she realized… she’d heard about him mostly from rumors, hadn’t she? What was his name again? Aki… something? “I mean… You’re also new this year, right?”
