Hide & Seek with Mama Bear
Ragatha’s memories of her abusive mother come back to haunt her in an unusual way after she and the other Digital Circus players are separated as the space crumbles and glitches out. The ragdoll avatar finds herself in the cavernous labyrinth below an unassuming but creepy cabin in the woods belonging to the monstrous teddy bear-like demon, Mama Bear and her “babies” the Trigger Teddies. Being a manifestation of the twisted love of abusive mothers that ruined their children’s lives, Mama plays a twisted game of hide and seek with Ragatha to hunt her down for her babies’ dinner as the poor doll avoids her and her “attraction” to get into a bear hug.
I just finished this after my landscape painting class was over. With how much I got so far, I figured I finish this up before I got a photocopy made to give to Ragatha’s voice actress when I go visit LVL Up Expo this weekend. Even though I kind of rushed to ink and color everything, I think this turned out great. I sure hope Amanda Hufford thinks the same when I show her this.
