Some old mood boards of the P5 protagonist
Prompt: Avenge her.
Character: Nairobi x Reader
Show: Money Heist/La Casa de Papel
Warning: Spoilers for S4, violence, threatens of murder, guns.
The death of Nairobi was something that had been toyed with for days and when she was finally better, when she was finally going to be let go, she was taken away.
The gunshot rang heavy in the air, Nairobi lay on the floor, blood pooling around her. Gandia bolted and Denver raced after him. You stared at her, one the floor, dead, and fell to your knees, “Nai...” You began to scream, sobbing as you lifted her, clutching at her. It was Helinski that had to pry you away from her.
The next few hours were a blur.
You never really kicked back into reality until Gandia was there, sitting in front of you, tied up. He was staring at you, that stupid expression on his face. The rest of the team were arguing whether or not to kill him or not. The Professor said he needed him alive but you wanted him dead.
“Venice,” Tokyo said, brushing your arm, “What do you think?”
“You know what I think?” You asked, voice angry, “After the first heist, I had so many nightmares. Nairobi held me as I cried one night. I cried and I cried and I couldn’t stop fucking crying. It was like someone had opened the floodgates and I just couldn’t stop. She told me stories, distracted me. She held me the next night when it happened again and the night after that and for the next four hundred fucking other nights.”
You turned to Gandia, “After this heist, I’ll go home to our bed and I’ll cry. I’ll cry and I’ll cry all night but Nai won’t be there to hold me. Why? ‘Cause she’s dead and you fucking killed her.” Almost everyone had tears in their eyes, “So, you wanna know what I think, mutt?” You sneered, “I think you should die in the most horrible fucking way, one of those deaths like you see in the movies, eh?” You put the gun against his forehead as Palermo yelled to stop, “An eye for an eye.”
He stared at you and you could see a slight tremor of fear on his face, “That feeling you’re feeling right now, that’s how she felt. The panic, the terror, that weakness... that’s how Nairobi felt... and that was the last thing she felt.”
You allowed Palermo and Helsinki to pull you away, allowed them to take the gun and allowed them to hug you, “I’m gonna kill him,” you whispered, “not yet but I will.”
I will probably get a lot of hate for this, but I’m saying what needs to be said. GOD cannot protect everyone from a maniac who was allowed to legally purchase a gun. God doesn’t exist to everyone. Stop trying to blame the system for not allowing something that may or may not even be real, and blame what we know has been a factor in every school shooting.
A gun.
We can do something about the gun epidemic. At this point, I’m saying epidemic because it is a nationwide problem that affects everyone.
We cannot allow children and teachers to be MURDERED in schools because some members of the government feel it “isn’t fair” they can’t have their guns.
You know what else isn’t fair? It isn’t fair that so many families and communities have to deal with people they love being Brutally Massacred.
So you can say that people will still find a way to get guns. They will. But the circulation would decrease, and almost all of the guns in these shootings have been legally owned.
It’s a start, you get the ball rolling on gun control and you will save lives in the long run.
These people have rights not to watch their spouses, their friends, their children, their lives be killed and destroyed.
That right for these lives trumps your right to own a gun. That is not disputable.
Different anon with a medical question for writing. How do you self treat/help someone with a gun shot wound when you’re not a paramedic, nurse or doctor? (It’s a PD fic, one of the team (not Jay or Kim) gets shot and they have to self treat, but I may have one of the others with them to help).
So something they’ll have going for them, they likely have some first aid training. Most places require cops to have a first aid and CPR qualification though the level of it varies. Other wise it’s all going to depend on the situation and the resources at hand.
flashback for braelyn?
D R I P, D R I P, D R I P...
The faucet never stopped dripping.
Constantly it let water escape, drip after drip, echoing off the metal sink.
It was enough to drive anyone crazy. But tonight, Braelyn’s parents remained seated on the couch, her parents owed this man money, lots of it from how angry he was.
His words spewed out like acid at her frail mother, and high father.
She wasn’t supposed to be home tonight.
Braelyn wasn’t supposed to see this.
But fate was a fickle thing.
Her hand trembled from the cold metal lodged in the palm of her hand. Braelyn didn’t know how to use a gun, let alone hold on properly. She was only 14, and saving up for a trip with her church choir. Almost had $2000. The large male seemed satisfied with what she offered. A large piggy bank her grandma had given her for Christmas. It now laid shattered at her feet, tiny cracks ripping through the pink porcelain. Pieces of it scattered all across the black carpet, leaving bits of white dust behind. The man would leave, shouting obscure threats, and earning them of their fate should he have to visit again. Lowering the gun her tearful eyes found her parents, a sob forcing it’s way out of her chest. Guess she better start saving again.
Sam: Did you know that a spider can hold eight guns at once?
Blaine: How does it walk?
Sam: Did you know that a spider can hold seven guns at once?
Blaine: But now I’m just picturing a spider hopping on one leg.
